Bishal Phukan (Assamese: বিশাল ফুকন; born: November 4, 2001) is an Indian music composer, singer and businessman. He is also the founder and CEO of Puntre.
Life and career[]
Bishal Phukan was born on November 4, 2001 in Namrup, Assam, to Bipin Phukan (father) and Jolly Phukan (mother). He had been singing from a young age, participating in various singing competitions. Bishal Phukan has one sibling, Jyotimoy Phukan.
He attended B.V.F.C Model Higher Secondary School, Namrup for his primary education in the year 2006 and passed out with a percentage of 82.1% in his H.S.L.C Examination in the year, 2018.
He then did his secondary education in Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh in Commerce Stream and passed out in the year 2020 with 67.4%. Presently, he is doing his graduation from D.H.S.K. Commerce College, Dibrugarh.
He got involved in e-commerce business in the year 2018 when he was doing his high schooling from Salt Brook Academy. He started his own e-commerce website by collaborating with a delhi-based company in 2018 by his own name www.bishalphukan.com (which is no longer available).
After doing this business with half of the shares for a period of 2 years, he started his own e-commerce company under partnership firm in the year 2021 namely known as Puntre.
