Black Eyed Peas is an American rap, hip hop, pop, dance-pop, R&B, pop rap, and electro pop band formed in 1995 by Will.i.am, (vocals, piano, synthisizer, and bass guitar), Apl.de.ap, (vocals and drums), Taboo, (vocals, DJ, and guitar), and Kim Hill, (vocals). In 2000 Kim Hill left the band, and was replaced by Fergie Duhamel, better known professionally as simply Fergie, who became one of the most recognizable members of the band, until she left in 2016, and was replaced by J. Rey Soul.
Since their inception they've released a total of eight studio albums, including Behind the Front, (1998), Bridging the Gap, (2000), Elephunk, (2003), Monkey Business, (2005), The E.N.D., (2009), The Beginning, (2010), Masters of the Sun Vol. 1, (2018), and Translation, (2020), two compilation albums, which included iTunes Originals – The Black Eyed Peas, (2005), and The E.N.D. Summer 2010 Canadian Invasion Tour: Remix Collection, (2010), and one extended play, which was Renegotiations: The Remixes, (2006).
