Andrew Gurd, better known online as Blantados (formerly Blantados the Sonic fan) is a Filipino YouTuber who uploads mainly Friday Night Funkin' and Henry Stickmin content.
History[]
Blantados joined YouTube in October 2013. He used to upload Sonic gameplay videos in 2018 and 2019, but it's until August 2020 that he uploaded his first Henry Stickmin video titled "BREAKING THE BANK AND ESCAPING THE PRISON! || The Henry Stickmin Collection Part 1". He also used to upload Henry Stickmin challenges videos such as his "Can you beat The Henry Stickmin Collection without speaking?" and more.
In 2021, he started uploading Friday Night Funkin' content, which was when his channel truly exploded in popularity along with supporters of his work. On May 14, 2021, he posted a special video called "Guns but every turn a different character sings it" to coincide with his playable mod release. It received critical acclaim for how worked out it became. The popularity then escalated with "Nerves but Every Turn A Different Cover is Used", which receives 94 Million views as of January 25, 2022, & is given an unofficial record of "Most Viewed Friday Night Funkin' video on Youtube". By now, more than a hundred Youtube channels showcase their own BETADCIUS big & small.
Currently, he makes covers on the game, works on more BETADCIUS with its dedicated mod, and also plans to build his week of his OC, Blantad.

- Blantados has confirmed that he is Filipino in a YouTube community post he posted on his YouTube channel. However, he doesn't understand much of the Filipino/Tagalog language despite living in the Philippines.
- In 2018, his YouTube channel name used to be "Blantados the Sonic fan" but later changed it to "Blantados". Possibly because his old name was long.
- His own OC reskin, Blantad, has over 10,000 downloads at GameBanana. It was one of the most well-known Daddy Dearest reskins at that time.
- Blantados has an ex-girlfriend once by the name of Isabela, aka. Mad!Wolf. Recently, both collaborated even more on FNF content, even having both sing Parish from Mid Fight Masses once.

- Blantados makes a lot of FNF mods, with some of them being more uncursed than others, like cooperating with the Vs. Eddsworld reskins of Smoke Em' Out Struggle.
- It's a coincidence that SEOS is where Nerves, the base of his most popular BETADCIU, came from.
- His other works include the Senpai vs. Tankman series, & Uncorruption.
- His idle animation is rather similar to Dawktrap's.
- Ironically, they're both based on their own creators.
- Blantados used his own voice for his reskin mod.
- His color palette is a reference to Sonic. His shaking his finger in his idle animation also references the OG Sonic doing the same thing.
- Blantados has confirmed that his persona (Blantad) can break the fourth wall.
- He's also known to be a deity as shown in Hands BETADCIU, where after his turn, he lifts multiple vehicles above the night sky throughout the entire song.
- Blantados confirmed that he might make Vs. Blantad Full Week if he can find a composer as well as an artist (Possibly implying a remaster, but more likely just for the background.).
- One of Blantados' favorite mods is Hololive Funkin', as he used a special voicebank for Mano Aloe on his covers.
- He even got the privilege to appear in that mod's Week 5 background, as thanks for the Hands & Haachama BETADCIUs.
