Alex, better known online as Boomstick Gaming, is an American gaming YouTuber who makes videos revolved around various trending game titles.

Content[]

On his first channel, Boomstick Gaming, he uploads videos featuring either concise guides, advanced gameplay tips, quality reviews, and/or informative previews that properly demonstrate the core gameplay of each game. His channel has guides through a large selection of video games. A video is uploaded a few days after a new trending game's release. A couple of examples being Death's Door or Chernobylite, both games being released in July of 2021, with Alex's game guide videos of these games being released on the same month.

On his second channel, Boomstick Micro, he uploads short, vertical clips of him playing certain games, highlighting a certain moment.

Plagiarism incident[]

In August 2018, Boomstick Gaming accused IGN of plagiarising his review of the game Dead Cells. IGN announced that it had “parted ways” with the accused editor, and removed the plagiarised review. It was later discovered that other reviews were affected.[1]
