BooneU[niversity] (or Boone, formerly AllHailBoone and AllHailGoon) is an educational (meme) channel focusing on major (sometimes political) events from the 1990's to present.[1]
History[]
Pre-2024[]
Boone's first account was made in 2020, and videos started being uploaded in late 2020. The videos were about a variety of video games, and around mid-2022, Boone was "popularized" by American streamer Ludwig after doing a "world record" of the made-up "Google Triathlon" in a contest of 12 people.[2]
In September 2023, Boone made a video talking about how he had to change his username (due to a lot of "coincidences") to "Boone" after people asked him questions about his username, Ludwig's podcast talking about him, personal attacks made by people and streamers, and the demonetization of his username.[3]
Since his last upload in October 2023, the channel was on hiatus for 8 months, until he announced his biggest project yet, BooneU, with three videos prepared.[1]
Current channel (2024-present)[]
The channel Boone uses now has many videos about major events, with one video getting 80K+ views. Boone has said that he will try to post long form videos more often.[4]
