Boosfer (born: October 16, 2001 (2001-10-16) [age 23])[1] is a Norwegian YouTuber who mostly makes gaming videos about Minecraft. He plays a lot of manhunts, which mainly involve trolling his friends.

Content[]

Boosfer is almost exclusively a Minecraft YouTuber, being well-known for his series of Minecraft Manhunts with twists, competing against his friends to beat Minecraft with a different twist in each video.

Recently, he has branched out to more types of content. He has a "Who is Smarter?" series, a gameshow between two other content creators to see who's smarter between them. He also has a series called "The Trials," in which he would set up multiple competitions in different Minecraft subjects (depending on the video, such as PvP or parkour) for viewers to compete in and seek to find a winner.

As of July 2022, he has completely moved away from his Manhunt content.[2][3] He has started making more commentary-based content, including puzzle videos (both for himself and for collaborators) and challenges.

History[]

He joined YouTube on August 30, 2014. His first public upload was on September 19, 2019, featuring him starting on an SMP called MilkyMC. His first few videos were of him playing on this server, and while making that series, he also starting on a survival series with the RLCraft modpack. He continued making mostly Minecraft videos, and he began focusing on Minecraft Manhunt videos on August 16, 2020. These videos attracted some viewers, however he really grew in popularity once he invited YouTubers KIER and DEV and YelloWool to act as hunters for his manhunts.

Once he started gaining popularity, he starting branching off to different types of manhunts, such as "Mansave" or tag, which eventually evolved into the "Minecraft Manhunt, but..." twists he is known for today. Along with this, his new friends he invited to his videos starting making manhunts as well (sometimes with him as a hunter), helping each other grow. With his manhunts, he became the foundation of the group that would later become the Color Crew.

MC Championship[]

MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.

MCC Rising was an event organised by the Noxcrew that took place on October 2, 2021, in order to give smaller "rising" streamers a chance to play. Creators of all sizes were invited to apply for the event, the only requirements being that they didn't already play in the main event and that they were able to stream it.

  • MC Championship Rising: Team Cyan Coyotes. Teamed with KIER and DEV and YelloWool. Placed 8th individual and his team placed 1st overall, but lost the event due to losing Dodgebolt.

Trivia[]

  • He is part of a group called the "Color Crew" who he frequently collaborates with, with the other members being Dev, Kier, YelloWool, Bubbo, Qndres, Baablu, and Jackattack.
  • In MCC Rising, his team managed to get a record kill count in Survival Games, killing 22 out of the 36 other contestants, with Boosfer getting 5 kills.
  • Boosfer's 8th place ranking in MCCR has been the butt of many jokes in his and his friends' videos.
