Hello everyone, my name is Bradley and I have a Brad Taste in Music.

―Brad Taste's intro

Bradley "Brad" Lehmann (born: April 7, 2000 (2000-04-07) [age 25]), better known online as Brad Taste in Music, is an American[1] YouTuber, music critic, musician and occasional vlogger.

Brad is best known for his reviews on My Chemical Romance, Twenty One Pilots and Joji. He is also known for his music persona Big Baller B, who is a satirical character who is supposed to resemble modern day rappers. Under his Big Baller B stage name he has released debut album titled "Big Baller Paradise", a collaboration album with Lil Mosquito Disease titled "Swarm", and two extended plays titled "The Good, the Brad and the Emo" and "The Good, the Brad and the Emo 2".

Internet career[]

Brad’s journey into experimental, boundary-pushing music began when he was introduced to music critic Anthony Fantano, also known as Theneedledrop. He frequently found himself agreeing with Fantano’s high-rated reviews, often mirroring his opinions. Fantano became Brad’s go-to source for discovering unconventional music not often spotlighted in mainstream media. Bradley created his YouTube channel "Ninja Fu Vine" on March 6, 2017. His first music review video was posted on September 16, 2017, which was about Alex Cameron's album Forced Witness.[2] This review saw an early Brad just talking about the music, not reacting to it but giving his afterthoughts similarly to Fantano. Brad continued to review various records throughout 2017. He would become associated with the “Billboard Reviewing Community”, building connections with Spectrum Pulse and ARTV. He started a Patreon in 2018 in order to help support his videos through college and transitioned into reaction-style videos due to a lack of viewership for his reviews.[3] In February 2018, Bradley posted a reaction video to twenty one pilots's album Blurryface. The video became viral for his very honest reaction and over the top editing style, attracting lots of twenty one pilots fans.[4] The video got him past 1000 subscribers.[5] He continued to react to similar acts like Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and My Chemical Romance to great success with bait thumbnails displaying ratings like “0/10” and “10/10.”

On April 8, 2018, Brad would upload his most popular reaction of all time, a reaction to emo cult classic “The Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance.[6] He would also be recommended artists such Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, and Joji. These videos would become so popular that he started building even bigger connections with content creators like cartoon YouTuber NateIsLame. Going into 2019, he was more popular than ever—but with that fame came pressure. Fans now expected videos with flashy edits and fun sound effects, which took a lot of time to make. As a result, his upload schedule started to slow down. He was still in college, so balancing school and YouTube became difficult. Without a regular job, he relied on YouTube income and livestreams to pay his bills.[7] Brad would also be signed to meme rap label Flex Entertainment under the stage name Big Baller B and remained their most popular artist since it's inception before he was kicked in 2025. Throughout the year, he was posting multiple videos about his mental health and being very open about it with his core audience, ultimately making the decision to drop out of college to pursue content creation.[8] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he became more active on the platform, putting out successful reactions to Joji's "Run" and Artic Monkey's discography. Bradley created his second YouTube channel called "Brad At Everything" on June 14, 2020.[9] By 2021, he started a new "topic" video format where he asked his fans through the community tab to suggest songs that fit a specific theme, a format that produced some of his biggest videos.[10] His channel crossed over 100,000 subscribers by May 21, 2021.[11]

In 2022, Brad maintained his momentum with more "topic" videos and high-profile reaction content. He also grew his presence as a livestreamer, consistently averaging between 500 to 1,000 live viewers. Brad began incorporating his livestream chat and signature sound effects into his videos. While he continued to react to paid requests, he also reviewed albums independently. Several of his clips went viral on TikTok, prompting him to post more regularly on the platform.[12] Long-form content also remained a staple, with videos where he ranked the most popular songs on Spotify—both all-time and current—drawing large viewership.[13] He became known for "torture" livestreams in which he deliberately listened to notoriously bad music, including the infamous "Earth" by Lil Dicky."[14] These streams generated high watch time and were widely recommended by YouTube’s algorithm, with the full "Earth" stream alone reaching over 1,600,000 views. By 2024, Brad’s formula remained consistent, but his influence had grown, with artists such as Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse and JAX publicly responding to his videos.[15][16] He also did collaborations with YouTuber entertainers HIVEMIND.[17] All momentum came to a screeching halt toward July-August 2024 for his infamous photo with H3h3Productions that resulted in a sequence of mentally-draining events and a break from content.[18][19] Following several rounds of therapy and rehab, he returned to content creation in September 2024 until July 2025.

Personal life[]

Bradley Lehmann was born on April 7, 2000.[20][21] His father is a musician, playing his guitar for Brad during his childhood. New Sonic Plague was the name, described by Brad as “crazy electronic experimental shit.”[22]

Bradley suffers from ADHD, depression, scoliosis, and anxiety.[23] Brad has struggled with a weed addiction[24] and celebrated being 2 years clean on July 31, 2023 before relapsing in 2024.[25][26]

Bradley began dating Tina in 2019 after viewing his reaction to “Neothether” by AJR.[27] They adopted a dog named "Suki".[28][29] They became engaged in 2021 and broke up in 2024.

He is half-Jewish through his mom, but claims to be "full Jewish" due to the matrilineal passing of the Jewish faith.[30]

Controversies[]

Picture with H3H3 Productions[]

On June 28, 2024, Brad and his then-fiancée Tina shared a photo with H3H3Productions and his wife, Hila Klein—creators they had admired since their teenage years.[31] While the photo itself was harmless, it sparked backlash from parts of Brad's audience due to Ethan's support of Israel in the Israel-Palestine conflict and Gaze Genocide, with Hila being a former IDF soldier. To some fans, Brad posing with them felt like support for Zionism, which they saw as complicit in genocide. This triggered some criticism online, especially on Twitter/X. Brad deleted the photo and publicly distanced himself from the Kleins.[32] In response, Ethan took to Instagram, accusing Brad of unfairly labeling him a Zionist.[33][34][35]

Support for Rose Mulet[]

On July 11, 2024, Bradley would make a community post stating:

Rose is a creator who I've known for a long time, and they are making huge improvements as a content creator and person as of recently, and it's worth watching their work. They recently made a fantastic video on listening to tons of bad music, and now they have a sample video in the same style. It's fantastic, and clearly a ton of work was placed into it

However, Bradley would later go on to delete the post.[36][37] Rose Mulet is a YouTuber who has shown support for acts like pedophilia and sexual assault on platforms like X (formerly Twitter).[38] On July 13, 2024, PizzaCrescent (one of the people who runs the "Brad Taste Uncut Reactions and Stream Highlights" channel; an archive of Bradley's reactions to albums on his streams) would make a post, stating that they would go on hiatus from the channel, regarding the drama between Bradley's support for Rose and Bradley's fans.[39] Bradley would later make a Tweet, saying:

Thank you to my community for noticing that I was not doing okay and for showing me that I need a break from the internet for a little bit. I'll be offline on most platforms for the next 7 days before deciding if I'm ready to return.[40]

After this, Bradley privated his Twitter account and unlisted all of his content on YouTube, only leaving up 2 videos. On July 24, Bradley made all of his YouTube videos public again and released a new video titled Top 300 Best Rap Songs Ever (Reaction).

Domestic violence arrest[]

On July 26, 2025, Brad released a video detailing his tumultuous past year where he admitted to his audience that he had been arrested back in August 2024 for domestic violence after yelling at his ex-partner Tina, downplaying the incident.[41] Both sides had never gone public about this situation. A day later, he issued an apology for the previous upload and announcing a year‑long break from the internet, many saw it as a deflection of responsibility.[42] Netlabel Flex Entertainment cut ties with him, citing undisclosed issues and expressed sympathy for Tina.[43] In response, Tina posted on Twitter that she plans to share videos she recorded of his abuse during their six-year relationship.[44] On August 5, 2025, Brad spoke out again, saying both he and his partner were abusive and trying to explain away his actions.[45] This video was quickly deleted. A few hours later, Tina appeared on drama YouTuber TheOppBlock's stream and shared two audio recordings from the night Brad was arrested featuring him aggressively screaming at his partner.[46] A moderator logged into Brad's YouTube account and posted the audio to his channel.[47] Later that day, a day-old video of Brad freestyling about his abuse was uncovered.[48]
