British Airways is a British airliner and the flag carrier of the United Kingdom. They have been operating since 1974.[1] Their main hubs are in Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport.[2] They are also one of the founders of the oneworld Alliance.[3]
History[]
The airline originally began in 1919 as Aircraft Transport and Travel Limited (AT&T). They launched their first daily flight from London to Paris. On March 31, 1974, British Airways was founded after merging both the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA).[4]
On July 4, 2013, British Airways got their first A380 delivered, making the airline to be the first British carrier to operate a delivery of the double-decker plane.[5]
In July 2020, British Airways announced that all Boeing 747s had flown their last scheduled flight, and was officially retired on October 25, 2020.[6][7]

The channel was created on April 17, 2009, and began uploading on May 24, 2011.[8] They upload vlog-styled videos,[9] along with safety videos.[10]
