Broderick Michael "Brody" Rasmussen (born: November 1995 [age 30]) is an American YouTuber and songwriter. He is one of the older siblings of Bryson Rasmussen, more commonly known as Haminations.
Personal life[]
Brody was born in November 1995[1]. In Haminations' video, 'My Pyromaniac Brother', Bryson said that he would put things on fire, The first time it happened, Brody was 4[2]. The family's uncle came to the house, then their uncle told Brody how to do stuff, and one of them was to use a lighter[3]. When Brody learnt that, he went under a bed, and lighting the lighter under it. The wax was melting, and then all the parents had to come to find Brody, and when they found Brody, they saw him lighting the bed, they then took him out of the bed[4]. Their family is Christian[5].
Working with Bryson[]
Bryson had worked with Brody for songs, the first one was for his Haminations intro. The second time it was for Bryson's song, Who I Am. Brody had made a voice memo and send it to Bryson, and then Brody went to Bryson's house, and then kept on thinking of lyrics. Some ideas that Brody thought out were all denied by Bryson. When they finished the lyrics, they started recording. Bryson had been coughing throughout the recording session, but the final result was good.
Bryson (along with Brody's other brothers, Brayden and Brenner) also once covered Go the Distance.
Trivia[]
- In one of Bryson's videos, Brody and Bryson (animated) were fighting. The flute playing for the music was actually played by Brody's wife[6].
- Recently, Brody and his wife Jen announced that they are having a baby girl in July.
