Majid Padellan[citation needed] (born: April 28, 1968 (1968-04-28) [age 55])[citation needed] is an American Democrat-funded left-wing[1] political commentator, known for the Twitter account "@mmpadellan" with over 1.2M followers.[citation needed]

History[]

Although the YouTube channel was created on January 1, 2007, Majid's Twitter account would be created on August 2, 2013. Though he had always been vocally left-wing on his Twitter account, only in late 2015 did he get involved with Donald J Trump, around the time that he announced his presidential run as a Republican. He created his first video on January 14, 2016. As the country geared towards another presidential election in late-2016, Padellan began to grow on Twitter through his vocal support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and by 2018, he'd been receiving around 6K likes per Tweet, and only got more popular in 2020, with the outbreak of COVID-19 and the 2020 presidential race between Trump and Joe Biden. He'd return to YouTube in 2020.[citation needed]

Controversy[]

Twitter account[]

In March 2021, right-wing Twitter users noticed that mmpadellan was being paid by Democrat PAC (political action committee) Really American. Really American receives donations from colleges, healthcare and tech companies such as Google and Amazon, and musician John Legend.[2][3]. He retaliated on March 10, saying that the information was clearly available in his profile.[4]

Trivia[]

  • He is said to work at a business called Gotham Color.[5]
  • He has a son, Malik.[6]
