Correll Coy Bufford II (born: June 22, 1980 (1980-06-22) [age 43]), better known online as buffcorrell, is an American YouTuber, bodybuilder, model, dancer, singer, and former United States army soldier.

He primarily uploads himself dancing and singing in the mirror to a wide variety of popular songs. He is known for his hoarse and enthusiastic singing voice, muscular shirtless appearance, quick song commentary, inarticulate ad-libs, and rhythmic dancing.

His videos are known for their location and low resolutions. He films all of his videos through a closet mirror in his bedroom, which features a poster of himself. He formerly uploaded dance and fitness vlogs to his old channels.

Due to the absurdity of his videos, he often comes across as satirical and comedic to viewers and commenters. He has gained a cult following on Facebook, Twitter, and in his comment sections.

Personal life[]

Correll was raised in Torrance, California, and attended Buena High School in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where he currently lives.

He formerly served in the United States army, having been stationed in Missouri and Korea. He quit due to his unhappiness in the military, as well as his unhealthy smoking, drinking, and eating habits.[1]

After returning from the military, he quit smoking and drinking and hired a personal trainer named Carl to help improve himself. He describes himself as a gym rat, waking up early and spending hours at the gym with his personal trainer.[2]

He is 5'8" (173 centimeters) tall.

Schedule[]

In an interview with Chuyi Wang, he states that he wakes up at 5:00 AM every day to eat breakfast, cycles to the gym, returns home to set up his equipment, reads suggestions in his comments, and records his videos. He occasionally records multiple videos depending on his mood.[3]

He has given himself several nicknames in the past including "Buffdog", "Mr. Styles", "Correll Muscle Boy", and "Correll the Black Ken Doll".[4][5][6]

He created the "correll11" channel on April 12, 2008. He uploaded low-resolution dance videos and bodybuilding vlogs.

He created the "TheCorrell2011" channel on December 30, 2010. He uploaded videos of himself modeling and dancing to music in his underwear, often sensually.

He created the "buffcorrell" channel, his most popular channel, on September 7, 2011. He regularly uploads shirtless videos of himself singing and dancing to popular songs in the mirror.

In 2010, he uploaded a cover of Drunk in Love by Beyoncé after gaining confidence from his body. The video became popular on WorldStarHipHop, receiving mostly negative comments.[7]
