CC UNIT (born: 1998 [age 26–27])[1] referred to by fans as Ghost is an American YouTube channel that is based in the southern California area. Ghost is known for his "creep catching" YouTube videos, where he pretends to be a minor on various chatting sites and confronts pedophiles in person.[2]

Personal Life[]

He is from San Diego. He grew up with two parents and he has both brothers and sisters. He started CC UNIT right after high school.[3]

Overview[]

CC UNIT was created on January 17, 2020, with his first video being posted January 30, 2020. Ghost created the YouTube channel CC UNIT to spread awareness of his organization and promote his cause to stop pedophiles. Since then, Ghost has caught around 150 predacious individuals on video. Ghost also livestreams his catches to his viewers on his channel as well using his phone. While he mostly targets those in southern California, he occasionally goes out of state for certain catches.

His most famous video is easily his EDP445 video, which premiered on April 22, 2021, where he and Chet Goldstein famously caught EDP445 attempting to meet with an underage girl. This video garnered a lot of attention and caused his channel to explode in popularity.[4]

CC UNIT went on a hiatus from doing new catches in January 2022. Although he continues to upload old catches to the channel on occasion. He then returned around May or June.

His channel has since been terminated from YouTube in violation of harassment and bullying guidelines. In May 2023, his channel that he created after getting terminated on his previous channel, was terminated for accusing Chucky actor of being a pedohpile.[5]

In October 2023, he created a new channel called "CC UNIT LIVE". A few days later he appeared in No Jumper.[3]

  • Although he has posted around 150 videos, he has caught well over 290 predators counting off-camera catches.
  • CC UNIT has appeared on the local Californian news many times before, getting attention for his vigilante-like behavior.
