YouTube is not Cameron's main platform, resulting in the content varying in style and upload dates. The videos on his YouTube channel are mainly memes and music.
History[]
Cameron created his YouTube channel on December 22, 2012. He did not upload anything until 2015, though. His first video, uploaded on February 15, 2015, was a meme based off the 2013 Disney film Frozen. His old videos were mainly memes. His most viewed video was uploaded on July 30, 2015. This video was also based on Frozen. Cameron would continue to upload meme videos, along with some animations and music too.
By 2020, his channel hadn't gained much traction, having only a few hundred subscribers. He and a small team then created Friday Night Funkin' in October. It was originally meant for Ludum Dare 47, a game jam competition. Cameron then updated the demo, giving it many new features and then released it to Newgrounds on November 1, 2020. The game follows Boyfriend, who must defeat numerous enemies in rap battles to be able to date Girlfriend, who he is in love with.
The game soon became extremely popular. In turn, this would cause Cameron's social media accounts to boom, including his YouTube. Cameron's channel saw substantial growth ever since the release of the game, and his channel now has thousands of subscribers, despite him rarely uploading.
