Capcom Co., Ltd. (or simply Capcom) is a Japanese video game developer and publisher.
History[]
In May 1979, I.R.M Corporation, was founded.[1]
In May 1981, its subsidiary Japan Capsule Computer Co., LTD was founded.[1]
In September 1981, both I.R.M Corporation and Japan Capsule Computer Co., LTD were renamed Sanbi Co., LTD.[1]
In June 1983, Capcom Co., LTD was founded.[1][Note 1]
In January 1989, both Sanbi Co., LTD and Capcom Co., LTD merged to become the current Capcom.[1]
Channel[]
It created its channel on April 5, 2010.
Nine days later, it uploaded its first video, titled "Monster Hunter Tri Weapon: Bowgun."[2]
On September 22, 2018, it uploaded its first livestream, titled "MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD - DREAM MATCH at TGS 2018."[3]
On December 1, 2023, it uploaded its first short, titled "Dragon's Dogma 2 Launches March 22, 2024!."[4]
