Ch3Thailand or simply Channel 3 (Thailand), formerly named Thai TV3 Official,[1] is a Thai commercial television network, launched on March 26, 1970, as a free-to-air platform.

On March 26, 1970, Prime Minister Field Marshal Thanom Kittikachorn launched Channel 3 HD at 10:00 Bangkok Time,[2] which was Initially limited to the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, and the broadcast area was expanded to Channel 9 on July 16, 1987.
On January 1, 2001, Channel 3 in Thailand broadcasted the first 3D film, Jaws 3-D, which required 3D glasses purchased from partnered stores or obtained from other sources.
On September 16, 2009, a wastewater treatment failure caused a generator room flood, suspending all broadcasts at 4:04pm. A test card with the National Anthem was shown at 5:32pm, and programs resumed at 5:37pm.
Channel 3, owned by BEC and MCOT, was the last broadcaster in Thailand to broadcast analog television services in September 2018, transitioning to digital television in late 2019 on VHF, and ceasing transmission on 26 March 2020 at 00:00 am, exactly 50 years after its launch.
In 2021, Tero Entertainment's entertainment programs were removed and transferred to Channel 7 HD.

On May 29, 2014, Ch3Thailand created their YouTube channel. The first video was uploaded on July 3, 2014, titled "น้องวิก3 ชวนทำดี" (translation: Nong Wik 3 invites you to do good.)[3]
