Chicago Blackhawks is an American NHL team based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. They currently play for the Central Division of the Western Conference.

They were created in 1926, by Frederick McLaughlin, as the Black Hawks.[1][2]
In 1934, they won their first Stanley Cup title.[3][1]
In 1986, they changed their name to the Blackhawks.[2]
