History[]
Chris6d joined YouTube on June 21, 2015, when he uploaded his first video, which was a homemade movie with him and his friends. That video has since been made private however. Chris6d did not upload much content until 2017, when he started gaming videos primarily focusing on sports games such as MLB The Show 17 and NHL 18. Following this, he began to upload more gaming content, branching out into other games such as Grand Theft Auto V.
Chris6d's channel was of a small size for most its early years, with the channel only reaching 50 subscribers in November 2018. It wasn't until March 2020 when Chris6d's channel took off, however.
In late March 2020, one of Chris6d's videos, entitled "Red Sox Get Rick Rolled by Padres [HD]", started getting recommended by the YouTube algorithm to many other people, and the video grew from 40,000 views in March to over 700,000 by the end of April, and Chris6d went from 400 subscribers in March to 1,000 in two weeks, hitting 1,000 on April 7. The Red Sox Get Rick Rolled video hit 1 million views in June, and then 2 million in September. As of now, Chris6d now has over 7,000 subscribers and a second video with 1 million views, that one being an Impractical Jokers video.
On March 25, 2020, Chris6d started a Cities: Skylines series, a city called Foye, which has gained him a following of other fellow Cities: Skylines players. On October 6, 2020, Chris6d started uploading via a schedule, uploading on Tuesdays and Fridays. Tuesdays are when regular videos are uploaded, and Fridays are livestream days.[2] On January 24, 2021, Chris6d hit 4,000 subscribers.
