churgney gurgney, better known as Sturm, is a YouTuber, composer and voice actor. He is known for uploading a variety of videos, mostly songs he's made for Friday Night Funkin' mods and other off-topic videos related to memes. He has developed a style of adding janky and meme images to each of his music videos and their thumbnails, which most of the time have nothing to do with the subject of the video and most of the time doing grammar mistakes, presumably on purpose.
History[]
He created his account on December 7, 2017, and uploaded his first video on May 22, 2020. Most of his first videos were dedicated to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance[1]. Later that year, he started uploading memes using images and music. On March 18, 2022, he uploaded a Friday Night Funkin' video, renaming it "Legacy Friday Night Crunchin' (Full Week) (Full House)" that gained subscribers and views upon publishing. After that, he started uploading more Friday Night Funkin' videos and a variety of other content to his channel.
In August 9, 2022, he released the "Trichael" demo to his Friday Night Funkin' mod "Hit Single". An anthology mod in which features his self-proclaimed "Hit Singles". The mod is still in development, its latest update being on March 25, 2025.
On September 30, 2022, he created a second channel on which he broadcasts how he plays games or writes music and puts memes and funny gifs at the beginning.
In November 28, 2022, Oblitus Casa (Five Night at Treasure Island 2) was released, in which churgney gurgney worked as a composer alongside Neutroa, Twisty and wrathstetic. In October 31, 2023, "7 Days Free" (Nightmare Below Disney) came out, in which he also worked as a composer and sound designer alongside wrathstetic, Dannoodle "Noodle" and Andrew Guzikowski "Nocturna". He will also compose and sound design in the upcoming game Treasure Island (A remake of "Five Night at Treasure Island")
In December 31, 2023, he uploaded his first album "Grey Lights See No Shadows". This album features a variety of songs he's done for several Friday Night Funkin' mods.
In April 29, 2024, he uploaded his latest Hit Single "Silly Billy", alongside a Hit Single's update, featuring Ironik, duccly, TD, honkish., and HassenX Animations, becoming one of his most popular songs in less than a week[2]. In May 6, 2024, Silly Billy became his most popular video with 1.5M views, surpassing Legacy which has 1.3M views, in less than a week.
In May 1, 2024, he uploaded his first EP "The Glurm with Subterfuge In It (Original Hit Single Soundtrack)". This EP features his two latest songs for Hit Single, those being Silly Billy and Fake Baby, including their Instrumentals.
In May 12, 2024, Silly Billy reached 3M views two weeks after the release of Silly Billy[3]. In May 17, 2024, Silly Billy reached 4M views fifth-teen days after he uploaded 3illy 3illion[4]. In May 21, 2024, the video reached 5M views and said that if the video reaches 10M views, he'll have to upload a teaser[5]. In May 25, 2024, it reached 6M views, churgney gurgney didn't couldn't make the video and left the Shit Single team to make the video, showing completely random clips[6]. In May 30,2024 the video reached 7M views, showing a low quality video of a kid playing a saxophone[7]. In June 4, 2024, he uploaded a video titled "Subterillion" the video doesn't has any description, but showcases what could be assumed as Garn47 gameplay footage, that same day Silly Billy reached 8M views [8]. In June 16, 2024, the song has finally reached 10M views, churgney gurgney explained that he won't be making more "-illy -illion" videos, except for 13, especial occasion. He promised that if Silly Billy reached 10M views, he would introduce a song, and he did. In the description of the video, a link to a video is presented[9]. In July 12, 2024, the song has finally reached 13M views, and like promised, he uploaded a video, which showed a black screen, churgney gurgney thanks his viewers for beating Blueface's WORLDSTARHIPHOP music video "The Next Big Thing" and how happy he is[10]. At the time of writing this, 25 October 2024, the video has 19M views.[11]
