Ferren Lee † (Chinese: 李玟; January 17, 1975 – July 5, 2023 [aged 48]), better known as Coco Lee, was a Hong Kong musician, actress, dancer, and singer. On July 5, 2023, she committed suicide.
She was known for voice-acted animated characters from Mulan, an animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation for Walt Disney Pictures called Fa Mulan, the Mandarin language version, and hired to sing the theme song for the movie "Reflections". Also she also known by her most popular hit songs "Dow Ma Dan (刀馬旦)", "Di Da Di", "Di Jiu Ye (第九夜)", "Bao Bei Dui Bu Qi (Baby I'm Sorry) (Baby對不起)", and "Reflections".

On 2 July 2023, Coco Lee posted an audio message on the social media platform Weibo thanking her fans. Later on the same day, the Hong Kong police received information about an attempted suicide on the places she lived. On 5 July 2023, she was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital and died on the hospital three days later at the age of 48.[1] A blood-stained nail clipper reportedly found near the bathroom sink, there's 13 antidepressants in her belongings. The news of her death received much attention in China, getting almost 1.4 billion views on Weibo in one day. On 7th August 2023, according to a report from South China Morning Post, she was conscious and able to speak as an ambulance took her to hospital after her suicide attempt on July 2nd, but she fell into a coma upon arriving there. Bruce Rockowitz was expected to press for legal proceedings so the circumstances for her death could be publicly examined.[2][3] In an interview on 6 September 2023, a close friend of Lee, Jenny Tseng mentioned that Lee had hallucinations after taking the medication prescribed by her doctor.
