Coolmath Games, otherwise known as Cool Math Games, is an American website that hosts HTML5 games, and, before the eventual discontinuation of Flash Player on January 12, 2021, Flash games targeted at children and young adults. Cool Math Games is operated by Coolmath LLC and first went online in 1997 with the slogan: "Where logic & thinking meets fun & games.". The site maintains a policy that it will only host games that the operators believe are non-violent and educational and is partnered with coolmath.com and coolmath4kids.com.[1]

On various social media platforms, they're known for posting memes and interacting with various users.

Cool Math Games first went online in 1997. The website has multiple games that users can play, including Run, the Moto X3M and "Papa's" cooking game series, and Hangman.

In November 2019, Popular Mechanics listed Cool Math Games as one of its "50 most important websites" since the internet was created. In September 2022, Coolmath Coding was launched to teach kids how to code in Roblox and Minecraft.

Shutdown hoax[]

In 2019, due to the discontinuation of Adobe Flash, rumors have spread that Cool Math Games would shut down. In light of these rumors, a petition was created on Change.org to stop it from shutting down and gained 100,000 signatures. However, the website confirmed it won't shut down, and have focused on converting old Flash games to HTML5.

Channel[]

The channel was created on October 17, 2019, and the first video was uploaded on December 10, 2019. Content that was uploaded to the channel included tutorials on their games and "memes" about their games.
