CordWit (born: April 26, 2003), is an English animation & commentary YouTuber who creates videos with an animated character hosting videos. He makes videos covering controversial YouTube characters or topics in a way that provides more level-headed insight to otherwise toxic YouTube drama.
History[]
CordWit created his current channel on the June 5, 2018, and released his first video HoW YouTuBe weRe cReAted (clickbait) on 2 October 2018.
He gained a lot of notoriety after his involvement with the Suzy Lu situation and collaboration with John Swan on Chris Hansen. He frequently appears on John Swan's drama streams as well as many commentator's channels as cameos in their videos.
After his 50-minute exposed video on a drama genre on YouTube known as Tea Channels, CordWit's channel skyrocketed to over 10,000 subscribers.
On 29 April 2023, CordWit announced in a TwitLonger that he was taking an indefinite hiatus from YouTube, citing a lack of enjoyment. He said that if he returned, it would be under a different account and/or separated from the commentary community.[1]
