Cyprian Kamil Racicki[citation needed] (born: June 14, 1989)[citation needed], also known as Cypis, Cypisolo, or Cypis Solo (formerly Norman Price), is a Polish[citation needed] singer, rapper, and music producer.
Biography[]
He is from Inowrocław, Poland. He began releasing his music online in 2004, publishing it through YouTube as well as record labels.[1] He has been a member of several groups, including P.W.P, WMO, Niedouczeni Wulgarności, and the Wybitnie Wyjani duo.[2]
One of Cypis's most well-known works is a remix called JBC PIS, which uses the melody from the song Call on Me by Eric Prydz and became an unofficial anthem of the Women's Strike.[3] Another song that gained Cypis popularity was Gdzie jest biały węgorz (Zejście),[4] which reached the top spot on the British Spotify Top 50 Viral chart and also became number one on the Top 50 Viral Spotify charts in Chile and Ecuador. This song was also used as the soundtrack for the popular TikTok meme known as Polish Dancing Cow,[5] which led to the release of electric furry cactus toys featuring Cypis's song in Taiwan in 2021.[6]
In 2017, nine of Cypis's singles, including "Mam moc", "Kiedy ćpam - schizy mam", "Stara szkoła wciągania", "Ja się z tobą przeliżę", "Świąt nie będzie", "Biała mewa", "Szósty dzień tygodnia", "Impra jest tu", and "Po to masz...", achieved platinum status, while the single Pochłania mnie balanga achieved gold status.[citation needed]
In 2019, Cypis was featured on the song Biesiada from the album "Ulepiony świat" by Nagły Atak Spawacza.[citation needed]
On September 7, 2022, Cypis released a new song called Arka Jarka,[7] which he recorded with the politician and businessman Zbigniew Stonoga. The song is critical of the government.[citation needed]
