D4DJチャンネル (English: D4DJ Channel) is the official YouTube Channel for the Japanese music media franchise "D4DJ" (Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ) by Bushiroad Co., Ltd.. The Japanese channel was founded on March 11, 2019, earlier than English channel named with "D4DJ Global Channel" founded on March 28, 2020.

The project of D4DJ is revealed on December 30, 2018[1] and featured with anime, comic, disc jockey unit performance, and mobile rhythm game. Its brand idea is inspired from a DJ show in Singapore by The Chainsmokers as Chairman of Bushiroad Takaaki Kidani visited there.[2]

The differences for two language channels is varied for region issues. The Japanese channel is focused on visitors in Japan, and Global English channel is focused on visitors outside of Japan.

As of COVID-19 issue, this project entered "J-LODLive" project supported by Visual Industry Promotion Organization in Japan for overseas brand promotion with concert highlight exposures in the D4DJ Global Channel.[3]

Bushiroad transferred the brand management and ownership to the game developer DONUTS Co., Ltd. since June 20, 2024.[4]

D4DJ First Mix[]

Official Playlist (Global Channel): Japanese dub, Chinese dub, English dub, Spanish dub

It's the first television anime program directed by Seiji Mizushima and produced by Sanzigen.[5]

It's initially aired on October 22, 2020[6] earlier than official premiere (October 30, 2020) for the schedule of the official press premiere in Tokyo.[7]

The official playlist is only available in English version as the Japanese channel didn't archive all of the episodes except episode 1 because of live streaming program schedule in Japanese channel and OTT rights in various regions.

The closed captions for Global Channel are mainly provided by Ani-One Asia when new anime episode or special program is premiered online.

Versions for non-Japanese dubs[]

Since December 25, 2020, bushiroad releases non-Japanese dubs at D4DJ Global Channel by the following rotations: Chinese, English, and Spanish. All the non-Japanese dubs are not visible for users from Japan and Korea.

  • Chinese dub is directed by Voice Bear Studio (Chinese: 音熊聯萌工作室)[8] from Shanghai, China. It's released since December 25, 2020.
  • English dub is directed by Bang Zoom! Entertainment from Burbank, California, United States. It's released since 11pm January 16, 2021 (PST, UTC−8). Maho Akashi is portrayed by Karin Kagami (Japanese: 各務華梨) as same as Japanese dub edition.[9] LilyPichu also participates the dubbing for English version.[10]
  • Spanish dub is directed by Marmac Group from Argentina and produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment. It's released since February 10, 2021. Some of episode names are translated into Spanish via CC subtitle.[11]

D4DJ Petit Mix ♪[]

It's a super deformed mini anime series portrayed by D4DJ ALL STARS and produced by DMM.futureworks since February 5, 2021. It's considered as an extra chapter from mobile game D4DJ Groovy Mix with "if" condition based on a fictional event "U4 Fes.".

This is set to be a part of D4DJ Photon Maiden TV in Japanese channel exclusively.

Bushiroad releases the 2nd season of the D4DJ anime adaption since 11:30pm January 13, 2023 JST. Characters from D4DJ ALL STARS were featured in this adaption. Since this season, Bushiroad changed their global channel service from multilingual to English-only. Bushiroad also changed channel icons with Miyu Sakurada, one of protagonists in the 2nd season, in both Japanese and English channels.

Bushiroad also released a special adaption "D4DJ Double Mix" before the official premiere of "All Mix" series on January 12, 2023 in English channel.

D4DJ DJTIME[]

This live DJ performing program, D4DJ DJTIME (stylized with hashtag as "#D4DJ_DJTIME") is featured with various voice actresses from D4DJ since May 29, 2020. After the performance, a mixing list in this program will be announced at official Japanese site, but there is no archived videos for this series.

Real-time motion capture technology is featured in some performances.

The frequency of DJTIME program is changed to weekly since August 7, 2020.

The program formation form is changed since April 2021 with project variations, the former "Special Edition" will be replaced with "#D4DJ_DJTIME PLUS" (aliased with "P#" in episode list below).[12]

A spectator-free premium version featured with team battle style named "#D4DJ_BATTLE_TIME" was initiated on June 19, 2021, for OPENREC event subscribers. It also participated the "J-LODlive" project for overseas brand promotion outside of Japan.[13]

During the first anniversary of the Japanese release for the mobile game D4DJ Groovy Mix between October 26, 2021, and October 31, 2021, Bushiroad collaborated ePlus Shibuya for a special live event named "#D4DJ_DJTIME +LOUNGE" in Japan.[14]
