In the back of my mind You died

―”Romantic Homicide” lyrics

I don't care how long it takes as long as I'm with you I've got a smile on my face.

Controversy[]

Murder and Pedophilia allegations[]

On September 8, 2025, a decomposed body was found in David's Tesla at Hollywood Tow. The body was found out to be a girl, with her age and ethnicity unknown at the time.[7][8] On September 17, the girl was identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old girl who was missing since April 5, 2024.[9] Celeste also had the same "Shhh..." tattoo on the right index finger that David had, which was suggesting that they had some type of relationship.[10]

Screenshots from a Discord server dating back to October 2022 resurfaced, showing David when he was 17 years old, messaging a user named “celeste”, who would've been 12 at that time.[11] An Unreleased song that David wrote in December 2023 was leaked, the song was addressed to a girl named Celeste.[12] In response to the situation, David canceled his remaining tour shows in the United States,[13] and Celeste's family opened up a GoFundMe for donations to "lay her body to rest," with a goal of $20,000.[14][15]
