Earl Simmons † (December 18, 1970 – April 9, 2021 [aged 50]), better known professionally as DMX, (Dark Man X), was an American musician, who performed the genres of rap, gangsta rap, hip hip, east coast hip hop, and hardcore hip hop. On April 9, 2021, at age 50, he passed away due to multiple organ failures, namely his kidneys, liver, and lungs.
