―DROPOUTS

Dropouts (often stylized DROPOUTS) is a group of YouTubers that are known for their prank and satirical videos as well as their numerous diss tracks. The group's channel was made on March 10, 2019, but their first video was not uploaded until November of that year. The group itself is made up of one YouTuber that being Joe Leslie Snowball (born May , 2003 (2003-05-00) [age 21]) known online as SnowyJoe and Nathan Egan (born 2004)[3][4]

The duo is aided by cameraman and editor East Bhusal[5], who isn't recognised as an official member but is featured in several of their latest videos. The group had three previous members. Mausam Kandel (born May , 2001 (2001-05-00) [age 23])[6] known online as Manter, a YouTuber known as Quakez and Ramiz Akhtar (born December 27, 2003 (2003-12-27) [age 20]])[7][8] known online as Rampz. All three Quakez, Manter and Rampz started the group before Quakez quit after two videos and Quakez was replaced with SnowyJoe.

Manter departed from the group on September 8, 2022.[9]

Rampz also departed from the group on August 9, 2024.[10]

History[]

The trio originally consisted of Kandel, Akhtar and a lesser known YouTuber known as Quakez. However, Quakez left the group after two videos leaving Kandel and Akhtar as a duo. SnowyJoe then began appearing with the group and was later added as an official member. Although not confirmed by other memebers, Rampz has stated friend and fellow YouTuber "lavish" was also a member of the group before Joe.[citation needed]

In early 2021, the trio began uploading zoom videos where they would invade zoom meetings in attempts to troll the attendents into a reaction. Their channels, and subsequently group channel, exploaded in popularity.[citation needed]

In June 2021, the trio met up for the first time in real life along with their friends and would record several videos together.[citation needed]

On September 8, 2022 Manter departed from the group leaving Snowball and Ahktar as a duo. They would later upload a final video with Manter on September 19, 2022, which was Manter's final appearence on the channel to date.[11] It would also mark Nathan Heagan's first appearence as their cameraman, which was supposed to be temporary but later became permanant.[12]

After this, the Dropouts channel was rebranded and the pair announced it was in a "New Era", which was later dubbed "Season 1", the two would film IRL prank videos and document their daily high jinks.[citation needed]

In September 2023, one year to the day "Season 1" started the pair uploaded a video called "The End."[13], where they announced that "Season 2" had begun, the video also provided a recap of the year.

The duo, along with Egan and Bhusal, bought a house in November 2023.[14]

Rampz would leave the group in August 2024, thus being the final original member to leave.[15] He was replaced by Nathan Egan, who became an official member.
