Daniel Robert Larson (born: November 15, 1998)[1], is an American[2] YouTuber, TikToker, singer/songwriter, and actor known for his daily vlogs on social media, music, and campaign to become president of the United States. He has become heavily infamous online for many controversial actions, such as pedophilia allegations, obsession with Grace VanderWaal, his usage of the N-word (aka, racism), and meltdowns, etc.[3][4][5]
Background[]
Early life[]
Daniel Robert Larson was born in Lancaster, California on November 15, 1998 to parents Elisabeth Shimer and Travis Larson. Daniel claims that he was heavily abused by his mother, and would be enrolled into the Tennyson Center for Children in 2012,[6] a program that helps children that suffer from neglect and abuse.
Daniel's grandmother, Nancy Shimer, then moved from California to Colorado to become Daniel's legal guardian.[7] She says that while he had issues with his behavior, he eventually received more help and improved his mental and academic behavior. Daniel would spend his high school years at Sobesky Academy, and would graduate in 2017.[8] He is diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
A girl who attended Sobesky Academy with Daniel answered questions from members of the r/Daniellarson subreddit.[9] She described Daniel as very reserved, incredibly quiet, and a "total wallflower."[10][11] She also claims that Daniel would sometimes hit himself, causing "close and lock" situations, meaning the whole school was put on lockdown.[12]
On July 24, 2019, Nancy passed away due to cancer,[13] so Daniel was taken care of by a friend he made at the center named Robert "Bob" Proctor. Bob had originally become friends with Daniel and Nancy through a buddy reading program and soon helped fund his music career.
Around 2021, Daniel traveled to Oakland, California, where he revealed that he was dropped by his disability providers and was homeless. He would start begging online for money so that he can buy warm clothing and food. However, this was proven to be false and would move back to Denver by his caretakers. He would be admitted to the Saint Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs.[14]
Homelessness[]
Daniel has experienced homelessness several times, the earliest known time being in 2021. Beginning in September of 2022, Daniel became homeless after he ran away from a home where it was owned by a caretaker named Jonas. Daniel had felt threatened by them and was constantly paranoid whilst living there.
One example occurred on August 14, 2021 when Jonas attempted to take Daniel's phone away since he thought Daniel was addicted to social media. Daniel began to have a meltdown and accused him of assaulting him.[15] Another example was when Daniel thought that his macaroni and cheese had been poisoned since jalapeños, honey mustard, and ranch were used instead of milk. He says that it heavily affected him so much to the point where he fled the house.[16]
He was briefly provided housing again six months later by a person named Miss P. However, Daniel would begin having meltdowns, during which he would destroy the house's walls and windows, mainly due to trolls sending him inappropriate items and arguments from Bob. Eventually, on October 16, 2022, he was kicked out of the house again after he heavily damaged the house during an argument with Miss P. Daniel has been homeless for over 16 months after this incident, making it the longest time he has been without housing.
When he can afford them, Daniel sleeps at motels. When he cannot afford them, he often sleeps in public restrooms.[17] This usually leads to him getting kicked out, and sometimes Daniel records these incidents for his followers to see.[18] Whenever this happens, Daniel claims that he was harassed.[19]
Traveling across the United States[]
After December 10, 2022, Bob flew Daniel out to Los Angeles after he learned that people dealing with mental issues can be put into a psychiatric facility if they pose a danger to themselves or others. However, fans raised concern about this decision and had wanted him to find livable housing, as he would continue to be homeless in Los Angeles. In February 2023, he eventually traveled to Las Vegas to boost his popularity and to afford better housing. However, he would be banned from all MGM properties due to reports of him sleeping at the buildings. He was briefly admitted to the Sunrise Medical Center, though he eventually left as he was kept there for two weeks.[20]
During that same month, Daniel would eventually travel to Tucson, where he would meet and hang out with several fans. However, he accidentally took the wrong bus to El Paso, Texas. Daniel would then travel to Big Spring the next month, where he live-streamed his psychotic episodes on TikTok, believing that he was being stalked by a pickup truck and hearing gunshots, and believing it was July once he found out they were actually fireworks.[21] His travel eventually culminated in the location of the gas station he was staying getting leaked and his YouTube channel getting hacked, so he would then leave to arrive in Houston where he would be banned from multiple restaurants by trolls and would confront police officers. Finally, on April 3, 2023 he took a plane to New Jersey and New York.
On April 5, a troll online named ZokMonkee began to follow him around and asked him inappropriate questions. They eventually followed him inside of a grocery store where Daniel told them to leave as he called the police.[22] An employee would ask him to leave as he was filming without permission and causing a scene. Trolls on a Discord call he was on encouraged Daniel to defend himself, to which he spit on him and began attacking him. The employee would then attack him in response, though Daniel still refused to leave since the police were arriving. He was then checked into the hospital where he had a black eye and a cut on his nose.[23]
He initially had wanted to travel to Orlando to go to Disney World, but he had missed the bus on May 17 and would begin to have several psychotic meltdowns. Daniel had originally wanted to meet up with Justin Bieber on May 19 in Orlando, though Daniel would say in his YouTube community page that he would be fired and that there's a misunderstanding. What actually happened during this incident is currently unknown. The next day, he finally returned back to Denver.[24]
College[]
In September of 2023 Daniel started making videos claiming he will be attending college at the University of Colorado Boulder. Trolls who attended the college would hang out with Daniel and eventually convinced him that he was a student. Daniel would show up to parties and get drunk, possibly pressured into having alcohol. Trolls would also give him a tour of the college and the dorms. On September 16 a troll would text Daniel claiming to be football coach Deion Sanders, and told Daniel to meet him at Folsom Field.[25]
Haircut[]
On October 23, 2023 Daniel would post a series of videos on his now terminated TikTok account @daniellarsonfreedom of him getting a haircut.[26] Daniel was under the impression that the people giving him his haircut were his assistants, but in reality they were trolls. In the middle of the haircut, the trolls abandoned Daniel.[27] Daniel would meet with them once more but they never finished the haircut, leaving him with a mess.[28] Daniel would do a livestream on YouTube shortly after where he is visibly upset and does a middle finger to the camera.[29] This haircut went viral, gaining over a million views on TikTok,[30] as well as over one hundred thousand views on YouTube.[31] Daniel would also show up to court with this haircut multiple times.[32][33]
Arrests[]
On September 16, 2023, Daniel attempted to go through Folsom Field but security stopped him, escalating to Daniel kicking a security guard and being arrested for third degree assault. The arrest would be filmed by onlookers as well as the police bodycam footage being released a few days later.[34][35] Daniel would spend three days in jail and would be spotted the day he was released.[36] Daniel would soon claim that he was falsely arrested.[37]
On February 2, 2024, Daniel was arrested in Aurora, Colorado, for evading justice after failing to show up to several court appointments, with a bail set at $20,000. In the months prior, Bob completely cut ties with Daniel, ostensibly due to Daniel's abusive and violent behavior towards him.[38] Daniel attempted to contact him several times prior to his arrest, even requesting a wellness check on him only to be told by the police that Bob did not want to speak to Daniel ever again. On March 1, Daniel would be released from Boulder County jail.[39] Daniel would return to the internet the following day after buying a new phone.[40]
Daniel's freedom would be short-lived. Even after claiming to be working with his probation officer and working on getting housing, Daniel was arrested on March 19 and put into custody at the Broomfield County Detention Center.[41][42][43] Daniel faced the same charge of fugitive from justice he did for his last arrest just weeks prior.[44] A fan would also post pictures of Daniel being arrested by police to the r/Daniellarson subreddit.[45] Daniel would be released from jail in just a few days shortly after his court hearing on March 21.
Daniel would be taken into custody again just about a week later on April 2 at the Douglas County Jail.[46] More mugshots would be released shortly after.[47] Daniel would be released from custody the following day and would resume posting on YouTube.

On April 30, Daniel would show up to a probation meeting and would be met by two FBI agents.[48] They arrested Daniel and took them into their custody to investigate him for federal crimes. Daniel would be transferred from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office to the Clear Creek County Jail on May 1.[49][50] The next day, Daniel's mugshot would be released.[51] In a jail call on May 1, Daniel claimed the FBI was investigating Bob for fraud.[52] On May 30, Daniel would be transferred from the Clear Creek County Jail to the Federal Correctional Institution, Englewood.[53][54] SmokeyMcC predicted that Daniel would be incarcerated from anywhere between 10 to 60 years, given the severity of the threats.
In July, Daniel's then upcoming court dates would be canceled after Daniel was found not competent to stand trial after a mental health evaluation.[55][56] As of August 2024, Daniel is in an unknown mental health correctional facility to receive treatment for an unknown period of time.
Internet Career[]
Early endeavors[]
In early 2020, Daniel would start to gain traction on his TikTok account, @daniellarsonfans, where he would post his songs and make several announcements. At this time, Daniel already considered himself to be a model and celebrity, often saying that he's made record deals and announcing new albums, despite no evidence of this being shown or being revealed to be troll attempts.
Beginning on July 14, 2020, he announced that he was going to run for president and many people began to ironically support him in the comment section.[57] Soon, Daniel's popularity attracted internet trolls that noticed his strange behaviors and began taking advantage of him. Trolls would pose as fake talent agencies, record labels, celebrities, and management teams to take control over Daniel. As the year went on, this only got worse.
Around October 2020, the camera on Daniel's phone appeared to malfunction and his camera became more foggy and blurry. It was revealed years later that the cause of this was management telling Daniel to put tape over his camera and then remove it.[58] This would disappear and reappear throughout the months up until 2021. Much of his fanbase joked about this and began to post memes in his comment section, dubbing these months at the "Fog era".[59] Starting in 2021, Daniel would upload a video where he does jumping jacks for the singer, Blake Shelton as a tribute for Black Lives Matter.
He would continue to preform jumping jacks for other celebrities and movements, such as Grace VanderWaal and George Floyd. He also began to produce music around July 2021, onto YouTube and TikTok, with his first song titled Roaring Thunder. He mainly specializes in rap and ballad, such as in the songs Gang Life, SOUTHSIDE, Something More, etc.
May 6 Incident[]
On May 6, 2021, Daniel announced that he would begin an audition on TikTok for an adult film. At 7 PM, he would post a live video of him showing off his genitals, and the daniellarsonfans account would be immediately suspended.[60] He would later create a new TikTok account where he claimed that his account was actually hacked. Some say that he was manipulated to do this by a troll named Flexburger.
Twitch[]
In the middle of 2022, a man named Ivan (Better known online as Oxis, or Ox for short) would get in contact with Daniel and befriend him. Ivan would then help Daniel set up a Twitch account to do livestreams and get donations to help with Daniel's living situation.[61] This would end after about a month in August when Ivan decided to set a $100 donation goal to prank Daniel.[62] When the donation goal was reached, Ivan swapped a video of the news to a fake nuke warning video.[63] Daniel fell for the prank and anxiously paced around his hotel room.[64] Daniel would leave the room to tell the front desk of the supposed emergency, which resulted in him getting in trouble with the hotel and him cutting ties with Ivan.[65] Daniel has not streamed on Twitch since the incident.
Turkey Tom[]
On January 30, 2023 American YouTuber Turkey Tom would publish a forty minute long video covering Daniel's story.[66] It is one of the most popular videos about Daniel on YouTube, giving him a lot of exposure. American YouTuber Papa Gut would make a video criticizing Turkey Tom's video for having misinformation.[67] Daniel would also leave random comments on Turkey Tom's video.[68] In a general response to people making YouTube documentaries about him, Daniel tells everyone to stop being stuck in the past.[69]
YouTube History[]
Daniel's earliest known YouTube account was created on June 7, 2019. The channel mainly consists of content of Daniel vlogging and making videos with a man named Ryan. This channel also has content dating from before his discovery and popularity started on TikTok.
A few months later on October 10, 2019 this channel would be created. Daniel has talked about owning this channel before, but it is clear that someone else also had control of the account at some point, due to the music video of Fake News being posted on it. The channel was also "hacked" following the aftermath of May 6, 2021.
Daniel Larson would create the channel on October 29, 2020 where he would post his music and vlogs. He would upload what is currently his most viewed video "Quandale Dingle" at 1.3 million views. However, trolls would later take control of the channel, which now archive Daniel's activity.
Daniel would create this channel on June 11, 2021 where he would post vlogs. The account would later be terminated two months later after one of Daniel's managers named Oxis, livestreamed pornography.
Daniel would create this channel on August 27, 2021. The channel consists of videos made during the mohawk arc and also includes a video of Daniel being asked to leave a Starbucks.
Daniel would create this channel on October 25, 2021. Videos uploaded to the channel feature Daniel's living situation with his care provider Jonas, which was often negative.
Daniel created this channel on November 24, 2021. His living situation from the last channel with Jonas continues, with recorded supposed altercations being published to the channel. Daniel would also record videos of another client in the house named Gavin, often pointing out his strange behaviors. A year after the channel was abandoned, it appears to be hacked. A random video was uploaded on December 28, 2022.

Daniel would create this channel on December 7, 2021. Daniel would post videos of himself doing karaoke, which he calls his concerts. It also around when Daniel started to wear a mask, which often became visibly dirty.
Daniel would start the year by creating this channel on January 8, 2022. Daniel would post more videos of him doing karaoke, as well as using the duet feature on a lot of TikTok videos and publishing them to his YouTube channel. Daniel would also go homeless in January and go on the search for different housing. The iconic green shirt makes it's first appearances in February.
Daniel created this channel on March 1, 2022. The green shirt arc continues and Daniel has more trouble with his housing situation. Daniel would also upload more karaoke videos and TikTok duets.
Daniel would create this channel on March 8, 2022. The green shirt arc continues with usual content and Daniel's last video declares that he is homeless again.

Daniel would create this channel on April 23, 2022. The green shirt arc would seemingly come to an end and Daniel becomes homeless again. Daniel would run the Colfax Marathon. Daniel would also begin to charge his phone at public places, often causing scenes. Daniel defends this, and says there should be a law to allow charging phones in emergency situations. This is also around the same time the infamous porch incident occurred.
Daniel would create this channel on May 3, 2022. Because of Daniel's homelessness and popularity, Daniel would begin getting kicked out of places more frequently. Daniel would begin sleeping in public areas and would often get caught. Trolls would also call places he is at to get him banned.
Daniel would create this channel on May 22, 2022. Daniel would remain homeless and would make more videos about the Colfax Marathon. The green shirt makes a return on the channel's profile picture.
Daniel would create this channel on July 28, 2022. Daniel would remain homeless and would meet Oxis. Oxis helped Daniel become a streamer on Twitch for a few weeks before everything eventually fell out. Daniel abandoned Twitch and remained homeless.
Daniel would create this channel on February 10, 2023. Daniel would temporarily get housing again around some time in October of 2022 but would be kicked out due to fighting and destroying property. Daniel would also get into an altercation with Bob on December 10, 2022. Daniel would soon travel to Las Vegas.

The reason Daniel claims he was absent is because he was assaulted by a fan and had to go to the hospital. Daniel would remain homeless.
Daniel would create this channel on March 1, 2023. Despite the name, Daniel hadn't made it to New York City yet, rather he was still working on getting there. Daniel would travel through Arizona and Texas while homeless.

Daniel would create this channel on October 13, 2023. Daniel's homelessness would continue, and Daniel would also livestream himself at a theater trying to meet with Grace VanderWaal. Surprisingly, the theater let him into a showing of one of their movies even when Daniel hadn't bought any tickets. To Daniel's dismay, Grace and her mother Tina never showed up. This was an attempt by trolls to lure Daniel into the Dave & Buster's right next to the theater, an establishment which Daniel is trespassed from. Daniel would also livestream himself causing a scene at an Olive Garden, escalating to falsely pulling the fire alarm. This was an event made out to be an emergency by trolls to have Daniel make a ruckus and get arrested. Still, Daniel faced minor legal consequences from this even though it could be considered a felony.
Daniel would create this channel on January 6, 2024. Daniel created this channel because he claims his previous phone was stolen, making him lose access to his previous account. Daniel would remain homeless and would begin going to fake online college classes ran by trolls. Daniel would also record an encounter with police at an airport when he was getting trespassed.
Daniel would create this channel on March 1, 2024. Daniel created this channel the same day he got released from jail from his arrest on February 2. Daniel created this channel because he lost access to his other phone because the police took it in for evidence, causing him to lose access to his previous account. Daniel would get arrested again on March 19 and would spend a few days in jail before being released from custody. Daniel would also be arrested on April 2, but would be released from custody the following day.
Daniel would create this channel on April 14, 2024. Daniel claimed to get a new phone number around this time due to it being leaked, so it's likely that's why he made this account.[70]

Daniel claimed the reason he made this account was because he got a new phone. The channel would go inactive after Daniel's arrest on April 30.
Collaborations[]
Jacob Markovich[]
In July of 2021, American YouTuber Jacob Markovich would do a collaboration with Daniel.[71] Jacob would meet up with Daniel to do a vlog style video on his channel.[72] Jacob and Daniel would talk about their popularity and singer/songwriter Grace VanderWaal's new haircut.[73] Jacob would take Daniel to his car to drive to a mall, on the way there they listened to Daniel's music.[74] Daniel would suddenly disappear from the vlog once they arrive at the mall.[75] When someone asked about it in the comment section, Jacob replied that Daniel said something that made him uncomfortable and he decided to leave Daniel.[76]
World of T-Shirts[]
In early April 2023 Daniel would take a flight to New York City.[77] Management convinced Daniel that Grace VanderWaal was ready to meet him there. Daniel says that he didn't go because of Grace, but actually for "business." For months, Daniel's followers have dreamed of Daniel having a crossover with internet personality Joshua Paul Block (better known online as World of T-Shirts). Once Daniel had arrived in New York, this became much more of a realistic possibility due to Joshua living there.
After Daniel met with Michael Quinn, a collaborator of Joshua's, they formed a temporary friendship and planned a meeting with Joshua.[78] On May 10, Daniel would finally meet Joshua and did a livestream together.[79] They wouldn't see each other again and Daniel would leave New York to return to Colorado about two weeks later.[80] Shortly after, Grace would actually do a concert in New York.[81]
Controversies[]
Pedophilia[]
On November 20, 2020, a troll going by the alias Flexburger would leak a Pinterest account that belonged to Daniel under the name "Hollywoodlars20". In one of his galleries named "Girl crushes", there are images of several young female celebrities, such as Grace VanderWaal and Darci Lynne Farmer (both were 16 at the time). He also had several other disturbing galleries, such as those covering masturbation and the age of consent in several states.[82] Daniel would take a few months off of the internet before returning in early 2021 to respond to the allegations. In December, Daniel initially responded to the allegations on TikTok by confirming that he did own the account and had masturbated to pictures of the young women. However, some theorize that the video was scripted by his friends since later on, he would claim that the account wasn't his and that he didn't know what Pinterest was.[83]
A day earlier, on November 19, Daniel was put into a Zoom room with trolls posing as his record label to confront him about the inappropriate images. They say that Daniel had reuploaded videos of young girls onto his YouTube account, though Daniel says that multiple of his social media accounts got hacked after giving his password to a fake record label called Fine Dining. One person on the call says that they called the police on him to be investigated, though what happened afterwards is unknown. Some have also pointed in the Zoom call and in chat that he had dueted with young children, though Daniel says that he had denied up to 400 collaborations. The trolls on the call had gotten screenshots from the Gmail account to show if he had any notifications from the Pinterest account, revealing that he had deleted one of the Pinterest notifications, confirming that the account belonged to him, though he says that it was actually a fake record deal that he had deleted.[84]
He had also posted a video onto TikTok where he admits that he loves child pornography, though he had revealed that Fine Dining made up a fake audition where he had to say he liked the game Club Penguin since the abbreviation can be mistaken as child pornography.[85] In 2021, Daniel would make a TikTok video where he gave a shout out to the infamous YouTuber and pedophile, EDP445 where he thinks that the allegations made against him are fake and that he was interested in collaborating with him in the future.[86] Whether or not these are his actual beliefs or trolls made him say this are unknown. Much of his fanbase have heavily criticized Daniel for his pedophilia for young celebrities and conflicting and inconsistent excuses.
Sometime after May 6, 2021, Flexburger began to leak more private information about him after Daniel had declared war against him for leaking his Pinterest. He had also posed as multiple young girls from 13 to 17 where he would text with Daniel, where much of the discussion was on sex and masturbation. He had also talked about how he wants to preform sexual acts on Grace VanderWaal and Sky Brown. Other leaks would be uploaded, such as Daniel apologizing for masturbating to VanderWaal and saying that he would legalize pedophilia. Daniel would respond to the leaks by saying that the TikTok account would "go on lockdown" and would report Flexburger to the FBI.[87]
Grace VanderWaal[]
Beginning on May 12, 2021, Daniel would begin showing an obsession with singer Grace VanderWaal. He would first post a video where he states that he would be collaborating with VanderWaal, which turned out to be false.[88] He would continue to post disturbing videos online, such as one where he laying on the floor confessing his love for her and moaning in a sexual manner.[89] This obsession was also seen in some of his early activity, such as the Pinterest leak and his debacle with Flexburger. He would also post multiple comments onto VanderWaal's TikTok posts and had believed that he was in contact with her family. This got to the point where he would go out in public and tell others that he was dating her.[90]
On June 25, 2021, Daniel was manipulated into believing that Grace had suffered from a heart attack and was on the verge of dying, so he posted videos onto the website, Likee where he wanted to get in contact with the VanderWaal family to know about her condition. This eventually goes to the point where he has a meltdown where he hits himself and threatens to commit suicide if they don't contact him. He eventually made a live stream on YouTube where he believes that Grace had died along with her father, David VanderWaal. He believes that she died from a heart attack and decided to go off of life support. He admits and apologizes for sexting with minors and sending pictures of his penis to her. He also says that he was talking with her and that Grace wanted him to carry out her legacy.[91] However, he eventually figured out that she hadn't died and would continue to make posts about her, believing that they were dating and breaking up.[92]
Eventually, Daniel begins contacting Grace's mother, Tina VanderWaal where he still believes that they're dating. Tina would respond by telling him to stop making claims about them dating and to stop harassing her because it's scaring the whole family. She tells him that he's delusional and should receive mental care. She says that she's contacted the authorities and that because of Daniel's actions, Grace has been getting harassed online by his trolls. Daniel responded by saying that he would kill himself.[93] Tina would respond once again on a YouTube live stream of Daniel's, where she told him to stop believing that he's in contact with her other than the previous private DM. She says that he hasn't listened to her and that he needs to stop being gullible to trolls. He would respond to the comment by saying that he wants to help them and fix the mistakes and misunderstandings he's made to them.[94]
Meltdowns[]
Daniel has had a history of anger issues and extreme meltdowns due to his mental disabilities and trolling attempts. One such instance was in 2021 when he was provided with an apartment he would live in and would be checked up on by his caretakers. However, Daniel would soon post a video where he shows that he broke the TV and had punched multiple holes in the walls. He said that it was the result of harassment and "being told what to do".[95] Some people have said that a troll is telling him to make several threats so that he would lose his housing.
He has been well known to cause physical damage to several items, mainly known for punching holes in the walls and breaking windows several times. Much of this behavior can be seen in the October 16th incident, where Daniel and another person began to argue about the address getting leaked online and wanting to get in contact with his case manager, eventually leading to Daniel running to the second floor, where he started hitting himself and kicking walls and doors. Daniel would then tear up and argue with everyone in the house, saying they're attacking them for his popularity. The police eventually showed up to the house and questioned Daniel about the situation. He was kicked out of the house by the authorities and was fined $1,000 for damages.[96]
Daniel has also been known to be physically violent towards others, making threats to them and almost hitting them. Some of these freakouts are mainly vented towards Bob Proctor. One such incident occurred on a TikTok live stream on December 10, 2022, where he began to have a breakdown as he believed that a motel he was staying in was threatening to kill him because he had broken several items in one of the rooms. He would begin hitting himself to the point where his nose started to bleed. Bob asked him to get out of the car and both of them would accuse each other of assaulting the other. Bob would attempt to call the police before Daniel begins to hit him.[97] Eventually, Daniel would be transported to the hospital and he would be heavily chastised by the fanbase for his assault and violence towards Bob.
One of his biggest meltdowns occurred on November 10, 2023, when Daniel was allegedly being followed by a group of trolls to different locations and would be subsequently banned from said locations. Eventually, Daniel headed into a Panera Bread establishment, believing he went in there to avoid a drive-by shooting. The circumstances leading up to the meltdown are unknown, but a bystander recorded the incident, where Daniel instigated two employees and threw tables in their direction. The employees said that they'll press charges on him for assaulting them, leading to Daniel screaming and punching himself, eventually getting up and almost hitting the two employees. After sitting back down, Daniel continued yelling and even said the N-word.
Daniel would then create a Discord call, in which he continued arguing with the employees. He says that he flipped the table in order to protect himself from the employees. He stated his intentions to leak the footage to news outlets and attempts to persuades those on the Discord call to leak it. Police eventually arrive on the scene and theorize that Daniel might be using drugs or alcohol since his pupils appear to be dilated, though Daniel says he only has dry eyes. Daniel tries to excuse his behavior, though the police didn't seem to fall for it.[98] He would eventually be sent to the hospital with an injured knee and a bloody nose from hitting himself.
On December 10, 2023, Daniel had arguably his worst meltdown yet at an Olive Garden in Denver, Colorado,[99] where he tried to get a reservation with Grace VanderWaal. He also accused the manager of doxing him and leaking nudes of him before being kicked out, as he wasn't allowed to film inside. However, he came back, this time demanding for a table for eight people, cursing out the staff when confronted by them, attempting to perform a citizen's arrest on everyone inside, and pulling the fire alarm, having been manipulated by the trolls in the chat.
Afterwards, a police officer gave Daniel a trespass notice for Olive Garden for a year as well as a criminal charge for pulling the fire alarm. Additionally, Daniel's court date for this incident is on February 14, 2024, at Jefferson County.
Racism and antisemitism[]
Daniel has an infamous reputation of using the N-word on multiple occasions, usually when he's angry or having a meltdown. While there's been moments where Daniel has been trolled into saying it, such as when he said the name "Nick Gurr",[100] there have been instances where he has used the word in his own volition.
One such instance occurred on May 13, 2022 where Daniel had charged a phone outside of a stranger's house without their permission since he was homeless at the time. The owner found Daniel refusing to leave, so he proceeded to call the police while he streamed it live on YouTube. Daniel seemed unresponsive at first, until the owner proceeded to yell at him to leave and threatening to using force. Daniel warned him not to get closer until he eventually called him the N-word.[101] Daniel would eventually leave after many threats from the owner. When people pointed out his racism in the comment section, he said that he used it for self defense, though he was criticized for this even further.
There have also been several instances of Daniel making anti-Semitic statements. He's mainly targeted someone named Goldberg Shacklestein, who he thinks is intent on starting a new world order[102] and kidnapping him with the Jewish mafia.[103] In reality, Shacklestein was a persona created by a troll named Samantha and the original drawing is a Jewish caricature created by the alt-right artist, Nick Bougas.
Dine and Dashes[]
Sometime after Daniel became homeless around September of 2022, he's been known to do dine and dashes at many restaurants, where he eats a meal and leaves before he can pay the bill. In many instances, he's usually kicked out of and banned by the restaurants around Denver for being unable and refusing to pay the bill.[104] He'll sometimes post the bill onto TikTok so that someone online can pay for the food, though whether or not someone actually did pay is skeptical.[105] However, there have been a few instances where Daniel has been charged or even arrested for dine and dashing. One example happened on January 19, 2023 at The Cheesecake Factory in Anaheim, where the manager refused Daniel to leave until he paid the $100 bill. He attempted to post the bill online, however he was arrested before the bill could be paid. He has said that because he views himself as a celebrity, he should deserve free meals and that if they aren't free, he will give the restaurant a bad rating.[106]
Disneyland Scabies incident[]
On January 17, 2023, Daniel went to visit Disneyland in Anaheim and would hang around the Downtown Disney area, vlogging his time on TikTok. However, two other visitors were members of a Daniel Larson Discord server, where people notified them that Daniel was present at the theme park.[107] The two would hang with Daniel until they eventually noticed that he contracted scabies after wearing the same clothes everyday and not having access to sanitary conditions. He was seen scratching his rashes throughout the day, which only made them worse due to his dirty fingernails. Anaheim residents reported him to social media, warning others about the spread of scabies and his infamous reputation online.[108] The itching got so severe to the point where mites started to appear out of his skin and had started to bleed from the scratching. He eventually went to the hospital, where he received a shot of Ivermectin and his symptoms began to die down.[109]
Dog Adoption[]
On July 9, 2023, Daniel had adopted a German Shepard named Music from the Longmont Humane Society. Many fans have raised concern over this decision as many cite his violent tendencies and inability to take care of himself.[110] Daniel also lied on the adoption papers, claiming that he was living in an RV. The Longmont Humane Society eventually made a post on Facebook about the adoption. They've said that they would be working with law enforcement in order to investigate the matter.[111] Daniel had said the reason why he adopted her was for her to be his security dog, even though Music is untrained. He has also been criticized for misgendering her as a he, which many saw as a lack of awareness. This was evident when Daniel said he feeds Music nachos and water from McDonald's, which many criticized him for being an unhealthy diet.
Many people online began to travel to Colorado in order to retrieve Music from Daniel's care. Eventually, a group called Ceel Team Six traveled to Colorado where Daniel was at a Walmart where they tricked him into thinking that they were going to take care of her by letting her into the car.[112] They eventually got her to another living space and showed videos and photos that Music was in good care before planning to return her to the Longmont Humane Society.[113] After this occurred, Daniel had a mental breakdown and destroyed parts of the establishment before being put into police custody.[114] Police bodycam footage of this incident would be released several months later on February 28, 2024.[115] Daniel had became heavily concerned about Music and asked his fanbase to get her back.[116]
He would continue to make several YouTube posts where he threatens Bob Proctor to tell the community about Music or he'll kill him and threatens to blow up the White House.[117]
