Not to be confused with DannyDuncan.

Daniel "Danny" Duncan (born: July 27, 1992 (1992-07-27) [age 31]), formerly known as DuncanStrength, is an American YouTuber that is best known for his various comedic prank videos.

History[]

Duncan created his YouTube channel on March 6, 2014. He often made videos with his established YouTuber friends Chris Chann and Andrew Hales. These collaborations with these two people helped him gain recognition to grow at the start of his YouTube career. The first video of his that surpassed a million views was "Falling With 30,000 Pennies," which is also his currently most popular video. Duncan has held events and made videos, with Steelers' Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Controversies[]

Danny Responds[]

In the late hours of December 7, 2021, just barely a week after Aaron made his video, Danny uploaded a response video[1] on his second channel. In this video, Danny denies any form of abuse, and shows many pieces of evidence to prove it. Danny also released an audio clip of when Aaron left Danny's crew on July 6, where Aaron complains about not getting enough views, and even inferring that he wanted to start drama. Danny also shows the pieces of videos that show Aaron's allegedly claims of "abuse", showing that they were actually just the normal form of wrestling that Danny and his friend group commonly engaged in. Danny even shows clips of Aaron beating up other people to prove that Aaron would possibly be a hypocrite in his own logic. Danny also used Aaron's metaphor of him "feeling like an abused dog" to claim that Aaron actually had almost killed Danny's dog, as he had left him in a cage that was hidden. Danny ended the video saying that he thought Aaron was the friendliest member of the crew and Aaron posting a video like this was disappointing but not shocking (considering the earlier voice clips). Immediately afterwards, the public opinion switched, as Danny regained tens of thousands of subscribers, and Aaron lost thousands of subscribers as the reception on his video turned negative. Keemstar also made a third video on the situation saying how Danny was in the clear, and many others apologized to Danny.

Grooming Allegations[]

On December 10, shortly after the Sunhatkid drama concluded, Keemstar uploaded a DramaAlert video titled "Danny Duncan ( She was 14 ) Grooming Allegations! - FULL STORY!".[2] In it, he interviews a girl who accuses Danny of grooming her when she was only 14 years old. People immediately questioned the legitimacy of her claims, as she was shown to provide no evidence of Danny actually preying on her. She made her own video that was met with an overwhelmingly negative response. Two days later on the 12th, another DramaAlert video was posted where Keemstar interviews an alleged second victim who claimed to be groomed by Danny when she was 17. As with the previous interview, this DramaAlert was also met with a mixed reception, with similar criticism to the previous one (the lack of proper evidence). People also started to criticise Keemstar himself for not doing more research into these situations to confirm if what these girls were saying was even true. On the 14th, Keemstar uploaded another video, where he interviews an alleged third victim of Danny. Once again, this video was met with the same criticisms as the previous two. Danny has not responded to these allegations as of yet.

Trivia[]

  • In 2018, he acquired the trademark for his Virginity Rocks clothing brand.
