Madison "Dax" Patrello (born: November 5, 1991 (1991-11-05) [age 33]), better known online as Daxflame, is an American YouTube vlogger and actor, who joined YouTube in 2007. He became popular for the Superman is coming to school meme.[1]

YouTube Career[]

On January 2, 2007 Daxflame was created on YouTube through a series of video vlogs and Video Diary entries that centered around a 15-year-old boy with little to no social skills made by username Daxflame. The videos are about a poor, awkward boy which is mostly talking about his girlfriend, and his best friend Jacob as well as other day-to-day occurrences. Known in the videos as Bernice Jauch the III, he is called the king of socially awkward boys on the web, thanks to his weezy voice, form of dressing, and over-reactions to things. The YouTube community quickly got on to make fun of Daxflame and the meme was born.

In 2020 Patrello was the subject of the YouTube documentary Ice Cream Man, created by IDubbbzTV.

Smoothie Madness[]

In July 2020, Dax uploaded a pilot episode of a new game show on his channel called Smoothie Madness. The pilot received over 200K views and in August, he started to upload the series weekly.

Success or Deletion[]

On December 30, 2020, In response to the success of a similar tactic involving his TikTok account, Dax uploaded a video saying that if his channel doesn't reach 1 million subscribers by the end of 2021, He will end up deleting his YouTube Channel. He ended up not following through with this despite only having achieved less than 483,000 subscribers by March 2022.
