Eventually, various tabloids such as the New York Post and the Daily Mail began reporting on the story.[1] DD199 made mention that the reason why the video ended up on the YouTube Kids app was due to YouTube's "Made for Kids" bots setting the video as such, even though he manually set it as "Not Made for Kids", as the video was intented for older audiences. Although the appeal was granted, the video remained on the app for unknown reasons.[2]
