What is up DramaAlert nation, I'm your host Killer Keemstar, leeeet's get right into the news!

―Keemstar's Intro

Daniel Michael Keem (born: March 8, 1982 (1982-03-08) [age 42]),[1] better known online as Keemstar (formerly DJ Keemstar), is an American YouTuber and online news reporter best known for his DramaAlert channel.

He is also known as one of the founding members and hosts of the Baited Podcast. He is the founder of Minecraft Monday, a popular Minecraft competition comprising of many large creators, and Friday Fortnite, which is a popular Fortnite competition consisting of large Fortnite content creators. Friday Fortnite was introduced in May 2018, but was shut down quickly. The tournament did come back in 2019, but for only a brief period.

History

YouTube career

Daniel has possibly the most terminated accounts consisting of over a dozen terminated YouTube accounts, multiple Xbox Live gamer-tags banned, a suspended Twitter account, and as well as more accounts on various other websites.

In January 2009, Daniel got his start on his YouTube, after he was trolling while playing Halo 3. Fellow YouTuber DERANKER would upload his game session, which showed Daniel talking trash to other players (in which Daniel was doing so as a result of drinking hours prior). He was unaware of this until he received various messages about the video, learning it was on YouTube. The people who uploaded the video eventually contacted Daniel, asking him to be a part of their group channel called F.@.G. (The Federation of Asshole Gamers) to make Halo trolling videos.

Daniel received a Machinima contract offer months later to upload to their channel and become a director. His first upload to the channel gained him a lot of subs in one day to KeemStarNation and coincided with the birth of his daughter Mia and the death of Michael Jackson.

After Daniel got his channel's terminated due to the partnership controversy, he created a new channel HappyGriefday. In 2012, Daniel was given the Youtube channel TeamNoble which was a channel previously ran by Marko.

In October 2012 he began using the XDJKEEMSTAR account, this channel would last until January 10, 2013, when it was terminated.

He created another YouTube channel, KillerKEEMSTAR where he briefly returned to trolling. That channel was then terminated in early 2014. In 2013 he also created another YouTube news channel, TheDramaAlert which also got terminated in early 2014. Daniel then created his fifth YouTube channel, FreeDramaAlert, which got terminated sometime in June 2014, leading to the creation of the NewDramaAlert channel which has remained since. It is unknown why the last two channels got terminated but it's possibly due to allegations related to his "toxicity" in the gaming community which eventually died down.

F.@.G.

F.@.G. (The Federation of Asshole Gamers) began in 2009. They uploaded their videos on a channel called HaloFuntage owned by 2Bucks. Daniel played multiple characters such as Sparkles the Gay Rapper and a Redneck.

In April 2009, Daniel and F@G broke the internet and the clan scene when he declared war on clan scene founding community KSI. The video was a call to arms, rallying Xbox Live to unite with his F@G to exterminate gaming clan KSI from the internet. Daniel got into a war with a UK trash-talker MarshyD13 and later F@G battled the group lead by him the Abuse Team. In 2010 there channel was terminated. The following month they made HALOAHOLES. To promote the new channel YouTubers helped out and upload F@G videos to their channels telling them to subscribe. 2Bucks uploaded a video Eternal Legacy months later which was basically his goodbye as he left the group. Their video How i did your sister went viral and hit 1 million views. The Xbox Live enforcement team started hampering down on Daniel banning his consoles.

By 2011 their content had slowed down ROBOT had gone back to military service and DERANKER was in between careers while Daniel was the only one left active. In September, their channel was terminated in occasion for selling partnerships. They made a brief reunion in 2012 following the release of Halo 4.

DramaAlert

DramaAlert was created when Daniel saw YouTubers fighting on Twitter in late 2012 and noticed the ridiculous popularity of videos discussing such topics. A earlier form was TMZxboxLIVE. This was featured on XDJKeemstar at first, where he would give his personal opinion on it, then later moved DramaAlert to a main account where he had the role as a news commentator and was passed on to many channels after each termination.

He would “Shoutcast“ it with the hashtag #DramaAlert, which people seemed to enjoy. One day he made a video about drama, which made the idea take off. Daniel created the first DramaAlert channel, DramaAlertNation, Early DramaAlert videos mainly focused on Call of Duty information and the channel was falsely terminated on January 10, 2013. Later in 2013, he created a another YouTube news channel, TheDramaAlert which also got falsely terminated in early 2014. Daniel then created his fifth YouTube channel, FreeDramaAlert, which got falsely terminated by Spam404 sometime in June 2014, leading to the creation of the NewDramaAlert channel later that month which was owned and operated solely by Dan's manager, Ryan Thomson.

On July 2, 2016, the ratings on DramaAlert were disabled but are now enabled once again. Because of his history of posting controversial content, including trolling videos, Daniel, despite being the creator and host of DramaAlert, did not have access to the YouTube channel and was permanently banned from operating a YouTube account until August 2016 when he realized his ban was lifted.

According to Daniel, the videos were being uploaded by Ryan Thomson, iPlayPRODIGY, Dan's personal manager who solely 'owned, accessed, and possessed' the YouTube channel in the interim of Dan's ban to keep it compliant with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

On October 26, 2021, Daniel announced that he will be stepping down as the host of DramaAlert in March 2022, coinciding with his 40th birthday. His replacement has yet to be announced.[2]

Podcasts

BadKidCast

In 2012, Daniel founded the "Bad Kid Show" podcast with YouTuber ONLYUSEmeBLADE. The show started in the summer as audio podcasts and then Blade going to Daniel's respective city being Buffalo Ny to shoot a music video shot by cameraman Scott Kinmartin; Daniel's high school friend when the idea came to turn in into a video show.

The day Scott had moved to Buffalo in August 2012 the BadKidShow got terminated. In the late Summer they flew to Seattle to collect Blade and drove cross-country to New York and to start doing episodes together in person. Unable to get through to YouTube, They made a new channel called the BadKidPodcast in September 2012 which had most of the IRL episodes. In January 2013 the channel was terminated.

Weeks later Scott left due to infighting with Daniel, without a cameraman the show resumed as a podcast again. They created the BadKidCast channel in early 2013. By early 2014 however due to Daniel's issues with ban evasion the show got taken down again. Some content can be found online. They continued the show on various audio platforms until calling it quits in late 2014. Blade ended up meeting a relationship partner who was either a fiancé or girlfriend through Daniel.

Blade and Daniel remained friends but the end of the show saw Blade's channel growth slowly stagnate. By September 2014 Blade got the idea to do drunk streams. Daniel finally got a sustainable Drama Alert channel but eventually backed off, often mentioning Blade. They remained friends throughout early 2015 and often did videos together but by mid 2015 Blade's drunk streaming got to a strange level involving racial slurs, collapsing, twerking, angering his partner, and getting her to break up.

Throughout the summer Blade was moving to different areas with Daniel trying to convince him to stay or move back to Buffalo. By September 2015 Blade got into a big scenario with a girl who he sort of had as a "rebound" from his last ex and had an embarrassing stream (read more here on the page). After a funny video about Blade being drunk saving a girl from getting roofied by drinking a ton of drinks in the bar after seeing guys put things in some (which was seen by many as Blade just drinking a ton not caring about anything) due to Blade going live crying with a drink that was roofied, not taking full effect due to Blade being around 250lbs at the time.

After that however Blade was talking about moving and quitting drinking but overall just didn't work with Daniel. They still met occasionally and Daniel mentioned Blade at random times (blade was brought up in 2016 with Leafy exposing the Ice cream kid face video.[1]) Eventually when Blade threw a dog Daniel "disowned him" which he revealed in late August 2019 after Blade was exposed for alleged rape.

Ever since while they may call Daniel and Blade have grown more distant and angry with each other and may be close to completely cut off. It was also suspected by many YouTubers like ELPRESADOR that Daniel got Blade to Buffalo and once Blade's popularity started to fall off in 2013 Daniel slowly distanced himself from Blade and once Blade became problematic in mid 2015 (with Daniel surpassing him in subscribers in late September of that year) Daniel almost entirely cut him off, eventually throwing him away. [2]

However Daniel did mention in many videos and tweets that he helped Blade many times but failed. [3]

#Triggered

Daniel was a co-host of the Triggered Podcast from 2015 to 2016 with YouTubers FREEDO, TheShwantz27 and Eddy The Chump.

Baited!

Daniel was the founder and co-host of the "Baited! Podcast" from 2016 to 2019. The podcast was also co-hosted by Colossal is Crazy and Tommy C. The podcast covered mostly YouTube drama/news and current events going on in the YouTube community. The podcast became very popular early on with reaching the top 20 on the iTunes charts, even beating out "The Joe Rogan Experience" at one point. The podcast also had popular YouTube guests such as H3h3Productions, LeafyIsHere, Zoie Burgher, FaZe Banks, Adam22, and Boogie2988. The podcast later added on comedian Andy Milonakis and YouTuber/Twitch streamer Anything4views after Colossal and Tommy C parted ways from the podcast after disagreements over wages. In June 2017, Colossal returned to the podcast permanently. In late 2018, Anything4views later left the podcast to pursue his own podcast "Cold Ones". On July 7th, 2019, The podcast made its final episode with special guest Tommy C, where they discussed the drama surrounding YouTuber ImAllexx.

On March 18, 2020, Daniel announced that "Baited!" has ended and it was replaced by "Mom's Basement".

Baited timeline

Mom's Basement

On March 16th, 2020, Daniel started a new podcast called "Mom's Basement" with co-hosts FaZe Banks and Colossal is Crazy. The podcasts uploads every Wednesday to Spotify and covers YouTube news/drama. The podcasts has had guests such as MrBeast, Jeffreestar, KSI, and many others. The show finished in 2022.

Thrust Nation

Daniel was a founding member in several incarnations of Thrust Nation, a gaming organization he led alongside Mala, a former FaZe member. The first channel being ClanThrust later on TheClanThrust. NY Thrust competed at MLG in 2013. A decision was made that summer when Daniel announced that Thrust would be a knife only clan. This decision was shortly reversed. though Thrust repeatedly came to an end one way or another. Other Thrust members included MatMicMar, Noisy Butters, Hollow, and Mtn.

Games

In 2011, with the popularity of Minecraft exploding, Daniel started a server ran by Dylan and community channel MinecraftStars. Later Daniel was send a video of a game that looked like a replica of Minecraft and was FortressCraft which was available on Xbox Live and Minecraft (wasn't at the time) the channel was FortCraft. Daniel then contacted the developer and asked him if he could promote the game. The developer agreed and Daniel promoted it and took part ownership of the game and FortressCraft went on to sell over 2 million copies.

In February 2013, Daniel started a game BadTripGame which was only in Beta mode when Daniel's developer stopped working on it.

In 2013, Daniel owned another game called Ampu-Tea with YouTubers such as PewDiePie and Yogscast covering and playing it.

Networks

In 2011, Daniel was contacted by somebody who wanted to start a network with him. It was called TheKeemstarNetwork. Users had to give a $50 dollar fee to make sure they wouldn't upload offensive videos. Maker Studios who was partnered with HALOAHOLES said that he was in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service for selling partnerships and that they were un-partnering with his channel. According to Daniel he then contacted his partner and asked him about this, he said that he "had looked into it" and that they would be fine. The next day Daniel's channels were terminated. Daniel says he tried to refund the people but couldn't since his partner had control of the PayPal. It later turned out that the network was allegedly purchased off of hack forums.

In 2014, Daniel created another network named ThatJuiceNetwork.

Racism allegations

In 2010, Daniel was a moderator on Battlecam.com and got into an argument with another moderator by the username AlexXx8 (Alex). Alex called Daniel a "Whop" and a "Dago", which are Italian racial slurs (due to Daniel being mostly of Italian ancestry.) The argument started due to Alex featuring Daniel on the front of the page of Battlecam, and users on the site started to notice it. Apparently, more users recognized Daniel as a moderator than Alex, so they thought Daniel was being selfish and putting himself on the website, although, in reality, it was Alex. Now it is unknown if Alex did so to anger Daniel or was doing it because he thought he was being nice and giving him more positive recognition on the site. In response, Daniel went on in what is now an infamous BlogTV live stream 100% furiously calling Alex the n-word, started saying "Oh fucking righteous fucking n*gger, Alex, is doing this shit! You fucking n*gger!" and later said, "Everyone type in chat Alex is a stupid n*gger!" which later became a meme and controversial years later. Now the story wasn't really well known until 2011 where somebody uploaded the video on YouTube but only had minimum views. Daniel decided anyway to address the issue anyway a video which made it blow up at the time with a lot of controversy. Daniel later in 2016 on a stream went across a video of a rapper saying the n-word (w/o hard R) which somehow reminded him of the incident, in which he told the whole story and that he regrets calling him the n-word as he knows now that it is a really offensive word and that he does not like that people are making memes out of it for comedic effect. In the baited podcast Daniel has said that he "regrets it every fucking day."

Teamkilling F1st

In May 2010, during the Halo Reach beta Daniel and ROBOT were in a game and betrayed F1stDaCuFFs when he was preparing to leave the game. Machinima gave F1st a heads up that this video was going to come out. Daniel accused F1st denying their request to let him upload and F1st released a video of the email from them and said he was ok with them uploading it. The two squashed their differences and became friends. In 2020 F1st was diagnosed with coronavirus and Daniel send his fans over to GoFundMe.

Feud with WingsofRedemption

In 2010, ThatGuyWhoCamps who was beefing with WingsOfRedemption contacted Daniel for help. Daniel then did a live stream talking shit about Wings. Wings then uploaded a response video and the fans started flagging each other videos both were Machinima directors. Mr. Sark arranged a meeting between the two and Wings doxxed Daniel once the live stream was over. Daniel later aired this video out on a livestream.

In February 2018, Wings said on a livestream "If someone deserved to die on this planet Daniel Keem would be one of them" a viewer saved this clip and posted it online. Daniel then tried to get Wings twitch shut down for violating their TOS. They talked things out when Daniel joined a livestream of Wings.

Feud with ObviouslyJesus

In 2010, ObviouslyJesus betrayed Daniel. In 2011, 6 months after Daniel was swatted, ObviouslyJesus wished that the police would of shot his daughter Mia. A all out war ensued between the two on Twitter. Time went on and things died down. In August 2012, ObviouslyJesus went after 13-year old AdvancedUAV and Daniel stepped in and told him to back off and asked for his Doxx then released it.

Roasting Andy Milonakis

In November 2010, Daniel roasted Andy Milonakis on a livestream and Andy ended up calling the cops on Daniel.

Feud with WoodysGamertag

In November 2011, Daniel called out WoodysGamertag on taking $500 dollars from a kid for a shoutout. Woody called Daniel on Skype and asked him to take the tweet down and when Daniel refused pretty much silenced him for half a year.

Woody later started streaming Movie Night on YouTube but as apart of a Netflix sponsorship deal without telling fans. On December 28, 2012, Daniel surfaced a video of Woody's daughter saying "are we just doing this for the money". Later that night while Woody and his family was streaming Movie Night his 8-year old son Colin touched the family dog and Woody ended the stream. Once Daniel saw this he tweeted it and it blew up. Daniel criticized Woody for being a "bad parent" for livestreaming his family for money to the public where anything could happen.

Feud with Chaos

In December 2011, Chaosxsilencer invited Daniel to participate in a charitable live stream to raise money for St Jude's. The Yeousch moderators on the stream did not like Daniel and started runnings ads on the stream, because of this Daniel started cussing out everybody on the stream and allegedly called the kids "poor sick bastards". Once the stream was over Daniel messaged Chaos and told him to get his moderators in check but heard no response back. Chaos then said it was a huge mistake to invite Keemstar on the stream, Daniel then declared himself at war with Yeousch and Chaos.

In August 2012, Daniel asked Chaos and bigsnackks to unpartner ObviouslyJesus from Yeousch after comments made by him about Mia putting her hand's down his pants. Chaos refused and uploaded a video and said Daniel was lying and a hater of Yeousch.

iFlyILLIni vs Raw Instinct feud

On July 31, 2012, when iFlyILLIni exposed I2awInstinct for copying videos from YouTubers such as TmarTn. Daniel got I2aw on the Bad Kid Show and they then called iFly on Skype but he backed out so I2aw gave his side of the story. The video received major dislikes with most people siding with iFly. Daniel later revealed the back story that without Blade's knowledge he cut a deal with I2aw that he would stick up for him as long as he uploaded a video and shouted them out. When this did not happen Daniel admitted he was played by I2aw. Daniel also called iFly a hypocrite and accused him of stealing videos from YouTubers. In December, A nude video was leaked of iFly masturbating on Chaturbate. Daniel ran a story about it on DramaAlert. I2aw later announced his return to YouTube after this.

Feud with MinnesotaBurns

In August 2012, Daniel started beefing with MinnesotaBurns on Twitter saying that Burns did what he did 3 years ago in reference to trolling. In September, Burns uploaded a video entitled "Keemstar Gone Forever" where he expressed gratitude for Daniel being gone after his channels were terminated. Daniel later responded with "Response to @MinnesotaBurns". Daniel had a suspicion that Burns made fake trolling videos and was offended because when he did trolling his videos were real. That December, Daniel went live on a video that had been staged of a Kid who was recording Burns telling him to get mad on purpose.

Feud with FuturisticHub

In August 2012, when Daniel got his channels terminated, FuturisticHub then known as SayOrNotToSay formerly known as LifeInATent and his former girlfriend reply girl Megan Lee Heart took credit. The next day his channel got terminated. Daniel got his Twitter banned and somebody doxxed Megan.

In June 2014, Daniel accused Spam404 of hypocrisy that FuturisticHub was allowed on YouTube of owning a part of the videogames channel and ban evasion of previous channels, and also attacked Marko who ran the channel of ban evasion over owning TeamNoble which Daniel actually owned at the time when it was suspended.

Ice-Cream video

In November 2012, on a episode of the Bad Kid Podcast, Blade shoved a Ice-Cream cone in a kids face, causing massive backlash with Daniel taking the most of the blame and YouTube having to remove the video for child abuse. The kid later turned out to be Scott's cousin kid. Whether he was told in advance or not remains a mystery.

Feud with VibrationNC

In December 2012, VibrationNC got a strike on his channel because on his podcast they said they were not able to say the c word, So Daniel said they were sexiest towards women and sent his fans to flag them, which they did and VibrationNC received a strike. VibrationNC then uploaded a video of him shooting a paper cutout of Daniel. They shortly became after friends after the feud ended with Daniel being a regular guest on the Drunk Sex Podcast.

Beating up Girlfriend allegations

In February 2014, Daniel's twitter was hacked with tweets being send out that he had beat his girlfriend Melissa.

Feud with Whiteboy7thst

On November 27, 2014, Whiteboy7thst accused Daniel of beating up his girlfriend and being a "wife beater" in response to a sarcastic tweet made by Daniel about marijuana. In December he then resurfaced a video he uploaded "#DramaAlert KEEMSTAR ATTACKS GIRLFRIEND? #WhiteBoyReport". Daniel then asked for Whiteboy's address on Twitter. In 2016, Daniel later tweeted Whiteboy's tactics taking advantage of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

Feud with Bashurverse

On April 18, 2015, Daniel's first major drama and controversy on his DramaAlert brand would arise with Bashurverse, a well-known Minecraft YouTuber over his past. Daniel would upload two videos on this matter, with the second one being uploaded on April 30, 2015. Many people in the YouTube community however criticized Daniel for belittling Bashur and driving him off the internet and destroying his YouTube career, and how he got it wrong, used Bashur for clicks and ad revenue, and generally did not care about Bashur's wellbeing. The drama also led to Bashur having several breakdowns on video, and Bashur leaving the internet for a while due to the hate he received. Keem has not responded to this however.

Feud with Scarce

In October 2015, Daniel and fellow drama channel Scarce (then known as RED Scarce) had a falling out in their relations and tensions would boil over on a stream on October 12, 2015. A heated exchange would occur back and forth between the two YouTubers resulting in Scarce uploading a video on Daniel a day later explaining the situation. Although the drama between the two would calm down for several months, it was not until January 2016 that Scarce would criticize Daniel over his reckless news coverage over RSGloryandGold. In summer 2016, many major YouTubers promoted Scarce over Daniel, and Scarce surpassed Daniel in terms of subscribers during that period, but nevertheless, Daniel regained his title of #1 Drama channel a year and a half later. Nevertheless, tensions between the two have calmed down as of recent times.

False accusations against RSGloryandGold

On January 9, 2016, Daniel made accusations that a 62-year old Twitch streamer RSGloryandGold was convicted pedophile John Philips, leading to RSGloryAndGold receiving abuse and even death threats – only for it to emerge that RSGloryAndGold and Philips cannot be the same person as Philips was still in jail and that the person who researched the story based it solely off of the resemblance between Philips and RSGloryAndGold. Daniel eventually uploaded a Twitter video saying that he screwed up and the DramaAlert video was put on private.

TotalBiscuit's Cancer

On January 13, 2016, Daniel posted a video in which he says in a sarcastic tone that he cannot wait to report on TotalBiscuit’s death, as TotalBiscuit announced in October 2015 that he is suffering from terminal cancer. The video was in response to TotalBiscuit's rude reply to Daniel when he tagged him in a tweet saying "You made the news". The video has since been removed from his Twitter, but there are plenty of duplicates to be found online. Weeks later, Daniel uploaded a ten-minute video on Twitter, apologizing to TotalBiscuit for the statement. These events taking place in January gained Daniel more mainstream attention. However, he unfortunately passed away in 2018.

Feud with ReviewTechUSA

On January 24, 2016, YouTuber ReviewTechUSA posted a Twitter poll on whether or not he should create a Patreon for his YouTube channel. Several minutes after the fact, Daniel sub-tweeted at Rich criticizing YouTubers for having a Patreon, especially if they make "enough ad revenue". Due to this subtweet, Rich directly called out Daniel about being a hypocrite due to him taking donations on his streams. Daniel later blocked Rich on YouTube. Two days later on January 26, 2016, both YouTubers had drama on a stream, with both attacking each other back and forth. Since then RTU and Daniel have both had uneasy relations, even going into late 2018 with Daniel grilling and accusing Rich of false flagging despite no evidence.

Feud with Philip DeFranco (News Network and Betterhelp)

On a few occasions, Daniel has taken shots at YouTuber Philip DeFranco on a couple of his live streams. He claims that his DeFranco Elite Patron is a scam and that DeFranco is a panderer due to his middle-ground stance. Daniel also criticizes him on the "Philip DeFranco is creating a News and Entertainment Network" on Patreon in a Twitter video post. The beginnings of this feud are unknown. DeFranco has responded subliminally to Daniel and also Kavos (in the beginning) on H3 Podcast #42 - Philip DeFranco (Play at 1:18:34) about the news network. DeFranco criticized Daniel (not by name) as not being a credible news source and mentions the pedophile allegations controversy as an example. Daniel responded on a Twitter video. On October 7, 2018, Daniel criticized DeFranco's involvement with the better help controversy on the Baited! Ep# 37 podcast. He claimed that DeFranco was partnered with Betterhelp while DeFranco claims otherwise. DeFranco responded to the controversy.

Big YouTubers' Responses to DramaAlert

In March 2016, while he is not specifically mentioned, it is widely assumed that the videos "DRAMA is more popular than CONTENT" by Jacksfilms, "YouTube Has Changed" by Markiplier, and "YouTube Drama" by PewDiePie were directed partially towards Daniel and DramaAlert.

Pedophilia Allegations

On April 21, 2016, YouTuber JoeySalads uncovered old footage from 2010 revealing that a 15-year-old girl had apparently live-streamed herself naked; with Daniel allegedly ordering her to do so. This received much criticism from other YouTubers—notably JoeySalads himself, GradeAUnderA, and Philip DeFranco.

Daniel's first reaction (on Twitter) was that he had "many girls get naked" in 2010, though later stated that his "news team" is investigating these claims, and for the time being "Keemstar will no longer host DramaAlert". Daniel eventually stepped down as host, and the new host: TyTrends filled in the role for a host of the show. A week later Daniel regained his position as host of DramaAlert.

iDubbbz Content Cop

On May 5, 2016, IDubbbzTV made a “Content Cop” episode about Daniel, criticizing him and his actions, both past and present. Daniel has since stated he had found it hilarious, possibly thinking that the video is satirical, not serious. This video started to get Daniel slightly more mainstream attention. While he did "survive" the content cop, his career and reputation have seen a modest downturn.

Feud with Pyrocynical

On June 9, 2016, Pyrocynical made a video on Daniel explaining his personal experience with Daniel and how Daniel leaked his personal images onto Twitter. This was due to Pyro not defending Daniel enough, and with that, Daniel attacked and accused Pyro of 'being a snake', and threatened to "ruin Pyro's career" claiming he had "files atop of files to swing back". This resulted in Pyrocynical and Daniel's relations becoming even more poor, and with this, the long anti-Keemstar mob ultimately began, as well as severing relations between Pyro and Daniel.

Feud with Smile4YouTube

Smile4YouTube, another YouTuber who has been critical with Daniel had his information unofficially doxxed due to Daniel. Both YouTubers have had their own drama in the past with Smile4YouTube raiding Daniel's streams, harassing Daniel, and creating content critical of Daniel for several months. In response to Smile4YouTube, Daniel on a stream encouraged people to dox Smile back. This resulted in Smile getting swatted in June 2016, resulting him in leaving YouTube after this event.

Response to the Allegations

On June 29, 2016, Daniel made a video called "KEEMSTAR EXPOSED RESPONSE!", where he responds to multiple YouTubers that have made "Keemstar Exposed" videos. He later made another video responding to the rapper Josh A. In the same vein of the streams he does, Daniel explains his own side of the story that the people such as Leafy, GradeAUnderA, (who both used to be friends with him) has all of a sudden, turned their own backs against him, but not out of disrespect that he was "talking shit about him." What happened is the exact opposite, they shockingly tried to make up accusations that are never true and had never happened, and bundled them into exposing videos that are filled with nothing but denials and lies. All of which, are made for fraudulent gain, to simply gain more views and subscribers to inflate their ego. This genuinely angered Daniel, not because of the fact they betrayed his trust, but also because they have continuing to spread damaging hoaxes around in order to defame him. During the streams, and especially during his career in being a YouTuber, was actually an honest guy, in which he proves in showing what had actually happened.

DramaAlert Scandal

In August 2016, while Daniel was on one of his live streams, he accidentally went onto the DramaAlert YouTube channel's settings, which he later gasped as soon as he realized after reading the comments what he had done. It turned out that Daniel had complete access to DramaAlert the entire time, even though previously he had multiple terminated accounts on YouTube. Despite this, the DramaAlert YouTube channel never got taken down, and Daniel has since confirmed he is able to own the channel.

Keemstar vs LeafyIsHere and GradeAUnderA Crisis

After the scandal, LeafyIsHere and GradeAUnderA came out with a series of exposing videos against Daniel despite being good friends. Grade accused Daniel of being a pedophile, racist, woman beater, and talking crap behind his back while Leafy accused Daniel of doxing, swatting, manipulation, hypocrisy, racism and talking s--t behind his back as well. This caused DramaAlert to gain more hate, lose subscribers drastically, and send the channel into a state of near-complete ruin. Daniel tried the best he could to debunk the claims, even by having his girlfriend testify on his behalf, but it was no use.

Because of the hate, Daniel stepped down as host and appointed Tyblue aka TyTrends as host so he can take a break from YouTube. This went on for a few weeks until Daniel returned with a video titled "Why Am I Still Getting Hate?" (which has now been deleted). In the video, he debunks a lot of the accusations made against him with actual proof. He even showed that Josh A lied about Daniel doxxing him and trying to bribe him. Another point he brought up was when Smile4YouTube accused Daniel of doxxing him (which is true), Smile4YouTube however was actually the one harassing Daniel and his friends. He would DDoS his streams, swat him and his friends/associates which included Bashur, and would make over a hundred donations just so he can charge them all back and shut down Daniel's PayPal account.

Months after the crisis, Daniel picked up a story where Leafy was accused of subscriber-botting by Ecy and reported this on his DramaAlert. Towards the end of the video, he tells a story about the time when iDubbbzTV made the Content Cop on Daniel and it made him gain hate and lose subscribers. He says that he called Leafy for advice, to which he allegedly responded with something along the lines of "Well you can bot the likes". Daniel states that he wasn't sure if Leafy was joking or not. However after Ecy's video was proven to be inaccurate, Daniel corrected the info in his next video. After Leafy saw this, he made a response to the video saying that he was "tired" of Daniel and was looking into filing a lawsuit against him.

A while after that, LeafyIsHere's former animator HeyWatchYourMouth came out with a video about Leafy. In the video, he goes over how Leafy didn't pay him good enough, didn't give him enough promotion, and used him and other YouTubers to attack H3h3Productions. However, he also reveals in the video that Leafy and Grade really did backstab Daniel and goes over their supposed reasons (with proof). Leafy allegedly did it because of a "business decision", and Grade because Daniel was a "racist" and he didn't want to associate with Daniel because of it. This helped Daniel get the strength he needed to climb back up and redeem himself in the future. Leafy then started to gain more hate than he did after the content cop made on him. Other YouTubers who worked with Leafy even came out and said the stated the same problems Nick had with Leafy.

Afterward, Leafy would agree to come on the Baited Podcast which was hosted by Colossal Is Crazy, Daniel, and Tommy C SFTP (at the time), and talk with him for the first time in months since the attacks. The episode lasted for an hour with Daniel and Leafy arguing while Clown and Tommy chimed in.

Feud with MundaneMatt

In June 2016, MundaneMatt was swatted and indirectly accused Daniel of possibly being behind the swat. One day later, the FBI showed up to Daniel's home and asked him questions pertaining to the swat of Matt. Daniel was later cleared from the case. However, this resulted in Daniel and Matt's relations going sour and tensions would reheat in April 2018 when Daniel made a Twitter video responding to Matt of their past confrontations with Daniel bringing up the swatting incident. Daniel would take further jabs at Matt until a Kill-stream in August 2018 when Daniel ultimately came out on top of his feud with Matt and essentially ruined Matt's career for good.

Feud with Pokimane

In November 2018, Daniel and Twitch streamer Pokimane got into a heated back and forth argument on Twitter, firing shots at each other and accusing each other of various things. This drama between the two resulted in significant distrust against Daniel and Pokimane herself for making their quarrels public.

Doxxing Destiny

YouTuber Destiny got the opportunity to be interviewed by Daniel on February 10, 2019. However, the interview was very unprofessional with Daniel even asking "Do you touch kids?". After the bad reception of the video, Daniel lost over 3,400 subscribers in 2 days and had slowly been leaking a small number of subscribers since then. Daniel, being very infuriated at this, enlisted the help of Zoom (a known swatter, hacker and pedophile) and the NCO (a Twitter group chat dedicated to helping small commentary channels grow without Daniel's influence) and attempted to dox Destiny to try to expose him. Though, he ended up admitting to it on the RFC Afterhours live streams. After gathering up the evidence, Nicholas DeOrio made a big exposed video on Daniel titled "KEEMSTAR Hacked This YouTuber...", followed by Destiny himself and many other YouTubers such as Combat Wombat and Bowblax.

Etika's Mental Health

Throughout late 2018 and early 2019, fellow YouTuber Etika had a multitude of mental breakdowns that ended in arrests and institutionalizations. Daniel confronted Etika on DramaAlert about it in an interview that got heated, culminating with Etika storming out of the call and Daniel laughing him off as "a f---ing nutjob". The interview has since been deleted. Daniel's Twitter is also infamously riddled with disrespect towards mental illness, asserting that depression and social anxiety "aren't real disorders" and anyone who claims to have them is "weak". He also encouraged Etika to continue having mental breakdowns to give him drama to cover. These tweets have to been deleted. Etika was reported missing soon afterward, and Daniel disregarded it as another publicity stunt. It was confirmed on June 25, 2019, by the NYPD that Etika committed suicide. Daniel got in contact with Etika's mother and set up a fundraiser for the funeral. Many people accused Daniel of contributing to Etika's suicide, but Daniel defended himself by citing Etika's relatives, who have no ill will toward him.

Downfall of Minecraft Mondays

In June of 2019, Daniel started a Minecraft tournament called Minecraft Mondays which featured many famous YouTubers such as PewDiePie, DanTDM, Technoblade, Skeppy, JackSucksAtLife, James Charles, BastiGHG and many others. On September 2nd of the same year, Daniel banned and whitelisted several smaller streamers from the tournament who were previously invited according to a video by Zyphon, arguably the most prominent in the situation being a6d, xNestorio, and TimeDeo. Daniel tweeted out a couple of times in regards to the situation, claiming that he banned them because of their low viewer count and profile and that he "didn't even know who they were." After some back and forth tweeting, this resulted in ShotGunRaids, TimeDeo's original partner, to leave the tournament, with other YouTuber Dream stating he would never come back to Minecraft Mondays would he be brought back. All of this culminated in a twist no one expected, where a6d snuck into that week Minecraft Monday's tournament, managing to pull 3-4 thousand viewers. This caused Daniel to join his chat and congratulate him on the viewers, letting him continue with the tournament. This whole thing sparked massive controversy among the viewers, with most of them attacking Daniel on Twitter. Many streamers including Skeppy, BadBoyHalo, JackSucksAtLife, and ShotGunRaids all decided to leave Minecraft Mondays after the drama had settled down a bit. However, as time passed, several contestants that left the game appeared to have changed their decisions. This was shown when ConnorEatsPants returned for the hacked week fourteen (the week when a hacker forced themselves into the week to break the game and got DDoSed after James Charles showed their IP). ShotGun was also present in the week as a spectator with both Skeppy and Jack appearing to be changing their decisions when Minecraft Monday Season 2 was announced.

Feud with Brawadis

In February 2020, Daniel uploaded a video on his DramaAlert channel interviewing a female who was allegedly was forced to perform sexual acts in front of YouTuber Brawadis. In spite of this upload, many people began to criticize Daniel for his extreme bias in the interview as Daniel stated he does not like Brawadis at all and many of his critics downvoted the video, accusing Daniel of trying to use his platform in order to discredit and destroy Brawadis' YouTube career.

Feud with TheQuartering

Just a week after in March 2020, Daniel accused TheQuartering of false flagging against Eight Points and demanded an apology. The Quartering replied to Daniel, debunking the claim that he struck down the critics' video and demanded an apology from Daniel. Daniel did not apologize to TheQuartering and ignored his critics in this situation.

Onision's Interview

On March 9, 2020, Daniel interviewed controversial YouTuber Onision. The interview was met by negative reception by the community due to Daniel's unprofessional interview and Daniel downplaying Onision, complimenting him at times. Consequently the second and third parts to the interview were uploaded to his channel but were met with backlash and dislikes. Daniel would take down those videos yet they would be reuploaded by other channels. Many in the community criticized Daniel for not having enough information nor did he do his research on the Onision situation.

Keemstar vs Lacoste Lawsuit

On March 13, 2020, Romeo Lacoste of the California Dream Tattoo officially filed a lawsuit against Daniel for $3.5 million dollars over the defamation of his character. Never the less Daniel had solid evidence to back up his claim of Lacoste having relations with underaged minors and promptly contacted his LA-based lawyers in order to begin his lawsuit. This is the first major lawsuit against Daniel and his DramaAlert brand directly.

H3H3 & Keemstar Feud/Content Nuke

On May 18, 2020, Daniel got into a heated argument with h3h3Productions. Although both content creators have already had an uneasy relationship dating back several years, the argument would boil over in May of 2020 exchanging back and forth tweets with each other. Consequently, H3 stated on Twitter that he will upload a video on Daniel and he did on May 19th, 2020 titled "Content Nuke" which outlined the entirety of Daniel's controversies and his malicious behavior. As a result, Daniel began losing subscribers already stagnating at 5.61 Million subscribers by that point and several hours after H3's upload lost 10,000 subscribers.

On May 19, 2020, Daniel tweeted that he will respond to H3's video. Many people on Twitter responded to Daniel claiming his career was "over" among other things. Several hours after H3's video was posted on Daniel as well as the tweet exchange, Daniel's sponsor G FUEL seemed dropped him from his website, thus losing Daniel's several years-long relations with the energy drink brand.

H3's video received a mixed reception with many claiming that his video was already common knowledge and covered to death by smaller YouTubers. The main criticisms against Ethan's video on Daniel was devoted to Etika as Ethan spent 20 minutes on that segment.

On May 20, 2020, Daniel uploaded his response video to Ethan called "H3 lies" focusing on H3's 20-minute long segment on Etika and H3's insinuation that Daniel was responsible for Etika's passing. The video was not well received and Daniel received more dislikes than likes as well as continued subscriber loss. Daniel also revealed that he contacted G FUEL and personally decided to not be sponsored anymore because he felt that the backlash G FUEL received was uncalled for.

On May 21, 2020, H3 dropped another video on Daniel called "Nuclear Fallout" further exposing the lesser known activities done by Daniel, such as shaming a rape victim, scaring off other people's sponsors (including a video game team), and having poorly-researched "news stories" as well as bias. This video was well received and also put a dent on Daniel's career with Daniel losing 70,000+ subscribers.

Feud with Deji

On May 23, 2020, YouTuber Deji uploaded a video called "My Experience with Keemstar" outlining his history with Daniel. Deji states in the video that beginning in 2016, him and Daniel were on good terms but later on, Daniel became much more negative and biased towards him on his show. Deji outlined the many instances that Daniel used his DramaAlert platform to attack, belittle, or even downplay Deji's mental health as well as the more recent allegations of Deji's alleged sub-botting to which Daniel claims Deji is doing and is actively trying to take down his channel. Deji also praised H3 for calling out Daniel and stated that Daniel deserved it after abusing his platform for so long.

H2ODelirious allegations

On May 23, 2021, Ohmwrecker was a guest on DramaAlert, when he alleged that several Vanoss Crew members used to share pictures of female fans with each other. He alleged this information was received via Lui Calibre and an audio recording of the same was played in the video. However, the context behind the audio could not be verified.

As the video progressed, Ohmwrecker spoke about H2ODelirious being set up by his friends in 2013. This event led to some of his audio getting leaked. Ohmwrecker further alleged that the girl who H2O Delirious was talking to was a minor and the group members knew it too.

Feud with Britbongreturns

Daniel had an issue with Britbongreturns due to his close friendship with Colossaliscrazy and after Colossal backstabbed Britbong he started targeting Britbongreturns and hiring Zoom/Godspeed to take down his Twitter accounts, then started targeting his newly made YouTube channel and Twitch and not only this Daniel openly threatened to dox and go after Britbongs family, Colossal knew about all of this and didn't help in anyway so Britbong told Colossal he knew stuff about him too so leave him alone.

Daniel blew this up to falsely claim he was threatening Colossal and "that's the reason why I am doing this" but the real reason he was targeting Britbong was simply due to the fact he wanted him completely deplatformed and silenced because Britbong made several videos exposing his friends and it pissed Daniel off, apparently Britbong was the reason he lost G-fuel partnership.

Daniel then told AugieRFC, TommyC, Bowblax and their group that the person that was sending people CP was "britbong" despite this being proven false numerous times they ran with it due to already not liking him, after months of false accusations he was proven innocent https://odysee.com/@britbong:c/proveninnocent:6. However, Daniel wasn't convinced and Britbong's channel was since terminated.

Feud with Harley Morenstein

On March 29 2023, Keemstar posted a video on Twitter asking Harley Morenstein from Epic Meal Time about putting FroggyFreshRap back on Creator Clash 2 card to help support the charities.[3] Harley would respond to Keem about the Froggy Fresh situation, calming that Keem told Harley that Froggy Fresh is going to sign with Happy Punch and fight on the card of Misfits.[4] Which Keem called Harley a liar and said that would it be cool if Froggy Fresh would be able to fight on the Creator Clash 2 card.[5] Harley later responded asking what event is Froggy Fresh going to fight on and to stop bullsh*ting the fans.[6] Keem responded saying that they should bet $50,000,00 to if Keem can get Froggy Fresh on an event this year.[7] Harley would tell Keem to contact Froggy Fresh to apologize to IDubbbz and Anisa.[8]

Fousey & Keemstar Feud

In August 2023, FOUSEY appeared as a guest on Bradley Martyn's podcast Raw Talk. Fousey seemingly made comments about Keemstar, as well as explaining why he parted ways with Happy Punch Promotions, which they co-founded in August 2021.[9] Daniel posted a four-minute Twitter video earlier today, claiming that "his truth" was the "reality." He brought up Fousey's most recent controversy, in which he was accused of taking advantage of a drunk woman at an airport.[10] Approximately half an hour later, Fousey took to Twitter to respond to Keemstar's sentiments. He claimed that Keemstar made him want to commit self-harm and that he was friends with Keemstar because he was "terrified" of him.[11]

The drama also included Deen TheGreat, who was was dropped by Happy Punch Promotions after allegedly signing with G7 Promotions.[12]

Termination

While Daniel has been terminated many times over the years, a hacker known as "Lizard Squad" hacked YouTube on November 23, 2017, terminating Daniel's channel for about 30 minutes. It was Daniel's biggest [account] termination out of every other channel he had. This Lizard Squad was revealed as fans using the original Lizard Squads name and as such renamed their Twitter to Alien Paradox Unit. People thought this would be the end of YouTube until it was found that a hacker (APU) hacked YouTube, and terminated multiple big channels, such as iDubbbzTV, Papa Jake, Styxhexenhammer666, Team Coco, Repzion, including Daniel. Daniel has made a video addressing the situation.
