Drawpinion Dump is a Brazilian-American YouTuber known for her analysis of children's cartoons and content, and the bigger themes that often go unnoticed in them.

Content[]

Her first video was on Nickelodeon cartoon Twelve Forever.[1] Her next video was discovering her favorite Toy Story movie,[2] as well as Moominvalley's portrayal of interpersonal relationships.[3][4]. She has praised Bojack Horseman for its evolution.[5] She will also sometimes revisit old/forgotten cartoons such as Symbionic Titan, and As Told By Ginger.[6][7] She is a huge fan of The Moomins, filling up a sketchbook with imagery of them and making multiple videos on its themes of love.[8][9] A lot of her movie reviews are of Disney's animated films.

Since 2020 she would analyze modern cartoons such as Kipo And The Age of Wonderbeasts, The Owl House and Infinity Train.[10][11][12] She praises modern cartoons for their representation compared to older cartoons, though she will occasionally talk about older media such as Speed Racer.[13][14] She is also critical of mainstream media portrayal of cats.[15]

She became famous with the video "How Robots (2005) Rejects Gender and Capitalism", which revisited the plot of Robots (2005).[16] She came to the conclusion that it was anti-capitalist, ending her video essay with “In the end, you just gotta build your own army and punch a capitalist”.
