The Electronic Entertainment Expo, simply known as E3, was a yearly gaming event created by the Entertainment Software Association.[1] It was held in Los Angeles, with 5,000 to 70,000 people attending the event.[2]
History[]
E3 had its first event in 1995. It featured the Sega Saturn and PlayStation.[3] Events were held annually before being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19.[4] It was then presented online in 2021, only to be canceled in 2022 for the same reason as 2020.[5][6] E3 was planned to make a return on June 13-June 16, 2023, but it was canceled.[7][8] On December 12, 2023, E3 was shut down.[9]

The first E3 channel was created on December 2, 2005, with the first video uploaded around that time.[10] On January 14, 2016, E3's second channel was created. Its first video was uploaded on January 14, 2016.[11] The main channel for E3 was created on April 12, 2021. It uploaded its first video on June 11, 2021.[12]
