―Scott's intro |
Scott (born: June 29, 1993
), better known online as ECKOSOLDIER (or simply ECKO), is an English YouTuber known for his Minecraft and Pixel Gun 3D (PG3D) content that he uploads and livestreams onto his channels.History[]
He launched his YouTube channel on November 17, 2010, and uploaded his first video, Shangri la - turn the power on", on June 28, 2011. His first videos were about Shangri la, then Black Ops Zombies and other Call of Duty games, but over time he moved on to Minecraft, then later on to Pixel Gun 3D in addition. Soon, his PG3D content rosed in popularity by having 100K views on each PG3D related content during 2016 to early 2018. Soon, Scott's content on PG3D are starting to drop down to 40K views or even lower per video due to PG3D declining in popularity.
On January 8, 2020, Scott uploaded a video titled "This is my last EVER Pixel Gun 3D video on this channel..." which in the video he announces that he will be posting PG3D content on his another channel known as PIXEL ECKO and saying that he will be posting Minecraft related content on his main channel. This however did not succeed in-terms of views as most of his PG3D content uploaded to the PIXEL ECKO channel were getting 10K views or even below per video.
As for his Minecraft content on the ECKOSOLDIER channel, it was doing decently well but hasn't getting the same views as he did when making PG3D content in 2016 to early 2018.
Trivia[]
- In Pixel Gun 3D, the developers created his own set of weapons dedicated to him known as the "Blogger Set" (or "Eckosoldier Fan" set by the community). The weapon set are YouTuber-themed of him.
- However, Bigbst4tz2 also has his weapon set and an entire map dedicated to himself, but ECKOSOLDIER doesn't have a map dedicated to him.
- He used the same intro template as ExxotikGaming once did and ExxotikGaming was accused of "stealing" ECKOSOLDIER's intro, even though they both used the same intro template by coincidence.
- In the Digital Hero set video, the secret word in the thumbnail is "banana".
