Martín Kovacs (born December 19, 1994), better known online as EL DEMENTE, is an Argentine YouTuber known for his reactions and vlogs.
He worked on a stage play called El Círculo with other Argentine YouTubers, which culminated on June 30, 2018. Also, he acted in the Argentine series, 100 Días Para Enamorarse, aired on the Argentine TV channel Telefe. He did a stage play with the Argentine YouTuber Ori de mier titled Sin Domesticar (Undomesticated) for almost one entire year.

Controversy[]
On December 21, 2018, a Twitter account posted screenshots of a girl accusing El Demente of keeping an Instagram chat with her, where she send him sexual pictures. According to her and her screenshots, the YouTuber never stopped her and insinuated that he wanted more.[1] This occurred in 2016, when she had 15 years old and El Demente had 21 years old. He later posted a video on his Twitter account confirming the situation: "Stop atacking this girl, because what she tells is true. [...] In August 2016, in a show of Tampoco Me Cuentes tu Vida, she told me she had 15 years old, and then on social media she send me nudes and I followed her game [...] I had 21 years old, and it's obviously wrong. I want to apologize to her and everyone because I behaved as a dirty jerk."[2] Due this, El Demente left his social networks for a short time.
