EUROLOVERS was a Japanese YouTube channel who used to post Eurobeat songs. Known to have almost all the Eurobeat songs, it was also regarded as one of the most influential uploader of the Eurobeat genre. The channel was made on September 11, 2010 and uploaded videos for about 6 years, until its termination on November 25, 2016.

Biography[]

Not much is known about the creator of the channel other than the date he joined. The channel is strangely classified as a gaming channel, even though the channel only posted Eurobeat. In the channel's whole existence, it uploaded music from a genre called as Eurobeat that originated in the 1980s, and was also featured in the famous car racing anime Initial D. The channel posted soundtracks from the Eurobeat genre. Some people claim that the channel had posted almost most of the Eurobeat songs featured in SEB at the time. The channel posted the soundtrack with a MP3Tube picture. Some songs were extremely rare, only appearing in full on limited run special albums. That is why it was one of the most renowned Eurobeat channels in YouTube's history.

Termination[]

On November 25, 2016, Eurolovers was terminated for copyright infringement. Many Eurobeat fans were shocked by this sudden takedown of this channel. A fan wrote an open letter to Roberto Gabrielli about the matter and he informed him that the person running the channel had started monetizing his videos when he was strictly told not to, which ultimately caused the termination. Some people speculate that someone hacked the channel or some "Friend" took over and was doing it themselves and the person/people who originally ran the channel were not aware until it was too late. The channel was claimed by SAIFAM.
