Axel or Jaci (born: May 1, 2004), known as JvstJaci or AxelHundlotl online, is an Australian animation YouTuber from Cairns, Queensland. They are non-binary. They produce mostly animation memes and speedpaints.
History[]
Old Channel[]
Jaci started their YouTube career on a channel called Aspensnow of WindClan in 2016. On this channel, they made commentary on things that annoyed them in life in their living room, as well as making gameplay videos as a character from the "Warriors" series, Snowfur. Jaci had to delete that channel due to privacy reasons.
Current Channel[]
Soon after Jaci deleted their old channel, they made a new channel, which is their current channel. The channel was originally called Jacinta the Neko, named after their fursona at the time. The channel started out similar to how their former channel began, except Jaci kept their face hidden.
Constant Rebranding[]
Throughout the backend of 2017, Jaci constantly renamed their channel. It went from Jacinta the Neko to J.T. Neko to J.T. Gatta in a matter of weeks, the exact dates are unknown. Jaci then renamed their channel to Edgy Aspensnow as a joke between some friends, to which they couldn't change their name back because they had used the limit of name changes Google allows. They had stated that they would change their name back to J.T. Gatta after Google would allow them to change it back.
On September 1, 2020, the channel's name was changed to queerexii, after it had remained Edgy Aspensnow since mid-late 2017.
On April 5, 2021, the channel's name was changed to JvstJaci, as Jaci stated they were no longer attached to the name queerexii. JvstJaci is supposedly short for JvstJaci Productionz.
Content[]
Jaci started their current channel by talking about the "Warriors" series, as well as other fandoms, and "Aspensnow reacts" content. The channel also continued the tradition of playing games as Snowfur from the "Warriors" series.
The channel quickly then became an art channel, mostly focused on the 'Warriors" series and was focused around PMVs about Jaci's 'Warriors' OCs. Jaci had been aware of the Animation Meme Community and then decided that they would start participating in it by making Animation Memes. Jaci made Animation Memes about their "Warriors" OCs, as well as their other characters, such as their fursona at the time - Jacinta.
During this time (late 2017/early 2018 period) Jaci was unsure about their identity but then realised that they were non-binary, making an alternate version of their then fursona Jacinta (shortening their name to Jaci) to better suit their identity. They continued to use the feminine version of Jacinta as their channel mascot for a while after that.
In the early 2019 period, their audience was introduced to the first design of their persona Jaci. Who's been through many minor changes since their creation. Their first design being seen on the 27th of February, 2019, and their most recent design being posted on the 4th of February, 2021.
Jaci discovered the Countryhumans fandom in the early 2019 period, and then started making 'Countryhumans' content which performed noticeably well on their channel. Most of their content is now Animation Memes based on Countryhumans, but they still do Animation Memes and art about their OCs - such as their persona Jaci and their old fursona (now just OC) Aspen.
Rivals and Regrets[]
Jaci is probably most known for their Countryhumans AU "Rivals and Regrets", a historical AU which asks the question of what would happen if the United States had not joined World War II. They are currently writing the story on their Wattpad account and have made several animation memes with this AU. Jaci is hosted a MAP about the AU, the MAP was posted on October 7, 2021.
