EnchantedMob is an American YouTube animation group who are known for specializing in music videos that combines Minecraft for the environment and style and either Undertale, Five Nights at Freddy's or Bendy and the Ink Machine for the characters that they use. Controversies[]

YouTube abuse and cyberbullying[]

A former member of EnchantedMob, named Qdeanc made a comment on Ekrcoaster's channel, who is a YouTuber and game developer. He claimed that the animation staff received poor pay and treatment from higher executives and when they criticized them, they were fired. Soon after, many employees left EnchantedMob and told their own experiences working there.[1]

On July 17, 2020, Ekrcoaster released a document called Opening Up About Things, talking about further abuse from EnchantedMob. In the document, the team wanted Ekrcoaster to join the group, but he declined. Photos shown in the document show that Zach accused Ekrcoaster of stealing an outro of theirs in their Build Our Machine music video, which was released on July 2, 2018.

However, Ekrcoaster claims he used the outro song since 2016. He also claimed that one of EnchantedMob's channels, Animation Sins criticized a video of his without his permission.

It was also revealed that not only did EnchantedMob cyberbully Ekrcoaster, but also sent him images sexualizing Circus Baby from "Five Nights at Freddy's" while Ekrcoaster was still a minor.

Poppy's Playtime plagiarism[]

On October 12, 2021, MOB Games released the horror game, Poppy Playtime with huge success online. However, Ekrcoaster accused Mob Games of stealing many ideas from a game he created called Venge, which released earlier on July 28, 2020. He points out that the character designs, story beats, and description are eerily similar to Venge.[2]

While there were some people who attacked MOB Games for supposedly stealing his ideas, others thought that both games were heavily inspired by other horror games, such as Five Night's at Freddy's and Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Poppy's Playtime NFT[]

In 2021, MOB Games announced that they would be releasing "digital collectible posters" of Poppy Playtime which were posters of the characters while also having secrets and hidden messages inside them. Many fans criticized MOB Games for selling NFTs and only having them at a limited quantity of 5,000 posters. On February 4, 2022, A YouTuber named Itsjustlord confirmed that MOB Games would stop selling NFTs.[3]

The original YouTube video announcing the NFTs has since been privated.[4]
