Soliman Mohamed,[1] better known by his stage name Exyl, is an Egyptian-Canadian[2] musician and YouTuber who makes 3D animations for his videos entirely on his own.[3]

History[]

On June 15, 2018, Exyl's channel was created.[4] The first public video on the channel is from February 1, 2019, which is the music video for his song Never Letting Go.[5] On June 28, 2019, he uploaded the video, Ping! which went unnoticed for several months until around December of the same year where the video went viral.[6]

On December 8th 2025 , Exyl collaborated with Discord in their event "Checkpoint" , where he composed the track Exyl - Discord Checkpoint , played in the background. [7]

Trivia[]

  • He started Ping! 2 as a Megalovania remix on April 5, 2020.[8]
  • His discord checkpoint track was made years before its release on a train ride to his childhood hometown , hence the nostalgia inducing effect that track gives.[9]
