Roberto Gonzalez[2] (born: August 22, 1997 ), better known online as Fanum, JustFanum or elFanum, is an Dominican-American[1] YouTuber who uploads a wide variety of vlog videos. He is part of the YouTube collective AMP. He is currently residing in the United States. He has no upload schedule.
Early life[]
Fanum was born on August 22, 1997 in The Bronx, New York City to parents of Dominican descent. He has a younger brother who has appeared in his videos.[1]
After graduating from a local high school in New York, Gonzalez enrolled in college but left mid semester to focus on earning money for his YouTube equipment.[3]
Career[]
Fanum entered the online entertainment sphere by streaming on Twitch in November 2016 and made his YouTube channel, Fanum Live, in January 2013.[4] Initially, on Fanum Live, he uploaded storytime and NBA 2K content. After temporarily leaving the channel in September 2019 and making all videos private, he returned in March 2021, shifting his focus to GTA V role-play content. The channel would then expand from predominantly GTA V role-play to a variety of content featured on Fanum’s Twitch streams.[5] On February 1st, 2019 he would upload his first video to his channel JustFanum. JustFanum is a channel where he would post IRL content such as commentary, story times, and vlogs, which often draw upon his experiences in New York.[6]
On August 27, 2023, Fanum won "Breakout Streamer of the Year" at the 13th Streamy Awards.[7]
Fanum has been featured on the music video for Offset's September 2023 single "Fan" alongside Kai Cenat.[8]
Fanum is an original and prominent member of the American content collective known as AMP along with Agent 00, ImDavisss and Duke Dennis, which later would be joined by Chrisnxtdoor and Kai Cenat.[9]

- He would take bites of food from content creators during streams. He dubbed this habit "Fanum tax" on a WIRED interview.[12] The word became a meme, often associated with Generation Alpha slang.[13]
- In June 2024, Fanum appeared as a contestant in the Sidemen reality competition series Inside. He was in the show for seven days and came in 4th place.[14]
- In addition to English, he also speaks Spanish.[2]
