Luke Spencer, better known online as Rocked (formerly known as RockedAlbumReviews), is an American YouTuber best known for making content based on rock, alternative, and metal discussion content from album reviews, to interviews, to top 10s, and tons of other things regarding rock music and the culture surrounding it. He created his channel on May 8, 2012.

Series'[]

Album Reviews[]

Album Reivews are the primary series on the channel, where he takes recently released rock and metal albums (or older albums if they are Patreon requests), and go in depth reviewing and analyzing them for mostly 5 minutes. Unlike the other two series mentioned below, he rarely shows his face while doing short form reviews. The series was originally launched in 2012, and since then he's made more than 200 installments.

All Time Favorite Albums[]

All Time Favorite Albums is a series where Luke takes a look at albums he can listen to for eternity track by track. The series was originally launched in 2014.

Regretting the Past[]

Regretting the Past is the opposite of "All Time Favorite Albums" in which Luke mainly reviews albums in which he mostly considers to be horrible, yet still sold incredibly well despite this. This series is where he coined the term "Triforce of Suckage", which he uses to describe Limp Bizkit, Nickelback and Creed. The series also coined the term "Drunk Mom Rock" to describe the fan bases of Buckcherry and Hinder as well as the "Denny's Stalker", a creepy character who is jokingly prevalent on butt rock albums involving the POV character lusting after women. The series was originally launched in 2015.

Tier Lists[]

Tier Lists is a series where Luke ranks a particular rock/metal/alternative artist's discography in tiers with a different guest for each video. Tiers include Gold (the highest), Silver, Bronze, Aluminum and Trash (the lowest). The series was launched in 2020.

Interviews[]

Interviews is a simple series where he interviews famous musicians in rock and/or metal bands.

Rock Coliseum[]

Luke is the host/moderator of the Rock Coliseum crew, consisting of himself, Mark from Spectrum Pulse, Jon from ARTV and Crash Thompson. The inaugural Rock Coliseum launched in 2018. In these videos, different topics are chosen at random by Luke from the audience with the 4 choosing to give a thumbs up/down as well as give their defense for their vote. In the case of a split decision, Luke then allows the audience to be the tiebreaker and vote if the topic (or which is the loser if it's a 1 vs. 1) dies in the Rock Coliseum.

Trivia[]

  • Metallica and Linkin Park are the only two bands that have had albums covered on both All Time Favorite Albums and Regretting the Past, with Master of Puppets and Meteora being covered on All-Time Favorite Albums, and St. Anger and A Thousand Suns being covered on Regretting the Past.
  • Similarly, Limp Bizkit, Nickelback, Simple Plan and Kid Rock are the only four bands/artists to have two albums covered on ''Regretting the Past'' (''Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water'' and ''Results May Vary'' for Limp Bizkit, ''Silver Side Up'' and ''All The Right Reasons'' for Nickelback; ''No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls'' and ''Still Not Getting Any...'' for Simple Plan; ''Devil Without a Cause'' and ''Cocky'' for Kid Rock.)
