About

Finn is known for making Minecraft videos on various different servers (mostly Skyblock, Prison Servers, and Hypixel), and for being in videos with Skeppy, which are usually challenge videos of some sort.

The most viewed video on her channel is called "I Became an E-Girl in Minecraft... (bad idea)". It is a stream highlights video of her dressed as a "Christmas e-girl" while playing Minecraft, then walking to her local McDonald's and going inside. It has over 1.5 million views as of 2023.

She is also widely known for her second channel, where she trolls people on the internet while dressed up as an e-girl, and her third channel, which is a highlights channel of her Twitch streams where she is also mainly dress as an e-girl.

(See "Other channels" section for more info about her second and third channels.)

History

2014-2017: Early days, MilescGaming and creation of the F1NN5TER channel

Finn's first known appearance online was before her main channel existed. She contributed to another channel called, MilescGaming.

On June 1, 2015, the F1NN5TER channel was created. Finn started uploading Minecraft-related videos on June 3, 2015, just 2 days after the channel was created. Her first video called "What F1NN Can Do | WFCD Ep. 1", is a 2-minute and 41-second long video introducing a series that she was making that included her testing out different types of cannons that she would be making and showcasing.

Finn originally set a goal of 10,000 subscribers. After just shy of 2 years of making videos, on April 15, 2017, she achieved that goal.

For the next 1.5 years after her goal was reached, her channel continued to grow in subscribers.

F1NN5TER: E-girl Rise and Streaming Success (2018-present)

F1NN5TER's YouTube and Twitch presence boomed in the "E-girl era" (2018-present). A makeup challenge video sparked an unexpected turn towards e-girl content, leading to significant subscriber growth. Daily Twitch streams in May further boosted her popularity. By the end of 2019, all her channels had exploded, with F1NN5TER reaching 300,000 subscribers and the main channel reaching 375,000 subscribers.

Twitch ban

On February 7, 2023, Finn was banned on Twitch, presumably due to her fixing her bra, which was seen as “prolonged touching of female presenting breasts”.[3][4]

Coming out

On March 1, 2024, Finn announced she had started the process of HRT and came out as genderfluid and bisexual.[5]

Other channels

Her other channels primarily feature her e-girl persona, Rose, in her videos. A good portion of her fanbase comes from her e-girl content.

iDots

iDots is an American-English gaming group with 4 members. They all have gaming channels of their own that mainly focus on Minecraft content. They also have a private Minecraft SMP server that they all periodically stream and record on. There used to be a fifth member, Spifey, who left due to personal reasons.

Members:

Finn once said in a stream that the group doesn't do much together anymore relating to the iDots. She also said that it’s been a while since the server was played on. The group still remains together though.
