Harvey Lee (born: May 7, 2001), better known online as TapL (formerly appleman158, TehApple and Tapple), is an American YouTuber known for his Minecraft videos about minigames such as UHC, Skywars, and Bedwars.
He sometimes makes videos with other YouTubers like Zyph, Skeppy and Technoblade. He also lived with Spifey and Skeppy in Los Angeles.
Personal life[]
Harvey Lee was born on May 7, 2001 in the United States. He is of Filipino ethnicity and has a brother and a sister.[2][3] He previously lived in Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.[4] He has dogs named Cody and Luna.[5]
Tapple[]
TapL has a Minecraft server named Tapple (Tapple.world). Erferno is the other owner of this server. It has three game modes named "Practice", where you can duel other players, "Border battles", where you fight players in the sky while the border makes it more and more difficult as time passes, and Events, a gamemode where TapL hosts events, usually UHC (Ultra Hardcore). He often recorded the UHCs and posted them on his YouTube channel. Tapple first opened to the public on October 5, 2019 and was closed down on 2021.
MC Championship[]
MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and Streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivising teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having less points than the runner-up.

- MC Championship 11: Team Cyan Centipedes. Teamed with Technoblade, Captain Puffy, and KaraCorvus. Placed 6th individual and his team placed 6th overall.
- MC Championship 12: Team Green Guardians. Teamed with GeorgeNotFound, Wilbur Soot and Ph1LzA. Placed 6th Individual, and his team placed 1st overall, winning Dodgebolt and the tournament.
- MC Championship 13: Did not participate.
- MC Championship 14: Team Cyan Creepers. Teamed with Captain Puffy, Skeppy, and BadBoyHalo. Placed 18th individual and his team placed 9th overall.
- MC Championship 15: Team Pink Parrots. Teamed with Wilbur Soot, Tubbo, and Ranboo. Placed 2nd individual and his team placed 3rd overall.
- MC Championship 16: Team Orange Ocelots. Teamed with Captain Puffy, Punz, and Shubble. Placed 15th individual and his team placed 3rd overall.

- MC Championship 26: Team Pink Presents. Teamed with BadBoyHalo, Antfrost, and TheEret. Placed 19th individual and his team placed 8th overall.

- MC Championship 27 (also known as MC Championship 27 - Underdogs) is considered a "half-canon" event, as all player statistics were removed except for win count. The event only featured creators who had not won a canon event before, and therefore TapL was not invited to participate.
- MC Championship 28: Team Pink Presents. Teamed with Ph1LzA, Ludwig, Snifferish, and Blushi. Placed 41st individual and his team placed 8th overall.
- TapL was replaced by Blushi after Game 2 (Parkour Warrior) due to having internet issues that prevented him from participating in the remainder of the event.

- MC Championship Pride 2021: Team Orange Ocelots. Teamed with Sqaishey, PearlescentMoon, and InTheLittleWood Placed 2nd individual and his team placed 2nd overall, losing Dodgebolt 2-3 to the Aqua Axolotls.
- MC Championship Pride 2022: Team Aqua Axolotls. Teamed with Antfrost, RedVelvetCake, and GizzyGazza. Placed 4th individual and his team place 1st overall, but ultimately lost Dodgebolt 1-3 to the Red Rabbits.
- MC Championship Scuffed: Team Red Rabbits. Teamed with GeeNelly, Hannahxxrose, Sylvee. Placed 11th individual and his team placed5th overall.
- MC Championship Pride 2023: Team Aqua Axolotls. Teamed with Ph1lzA, RedVelvetCake, and Eret. Placed 22nd individual and his team placed 8th overall.
Break[]
On January 15, 2022, TapL announced that he would have an indefinite break from content creation, due to him moving out of his house.[6] His break ended on February 18.
Other Channels[]
He has three other channels: HarV, Tapple and TapLLive. HarV is his second channel, TapLLive is the channel for highlights from his Twitch streams and Tapple is the channel for his Minecraft server. Most of his videos include "Minecraft, But..." and other challenges. In the past he mostly recorded UHC videos on his server, Tapple. Some of his other videos involve ridiculous resource packs in Minecraft.

- Skeppy once bought him 100 hamburgers after he made a retweet deal with TapL.[7]
- His username is based on the word "apple".[8]
- His original username was "appleman158", later changing it to "TehApple", then "Tapple" and finally to "TapL".
- On January 1, 2020, TapL came out as bisexual to his fan base via his twitter page, tweeting "I want to show more of myself out there so I thought it would be a good idea to start off the new decade to come out as 💖💙💜"[9]
- TapL was tested positive for the Coronavirus Oct 2020 and informed his followers via Twitter.[10]
