Lauren Elizabeth Babjak (née: Lorenzo; born: June 15, 1990), better known online as eLL cartoons, is an American YouTube animator who rose to fame by publishing comedic doodles about her day-to-day life on her channel. She also has a second channel called eLL vlogs.
History[]
In high school, eLL struggled with overeating. She would eat Burger King practically every day. She eventually beat this habit. when she was 18, she graduated high school, and started at a community college. She wanted to make a show, even when she was a child. In her childhood, she created a show called "Kate and Kit". The jobs and college she got were seemingly too hard to her, so she took the life guarding job "by searching up effortless jobs" at a retirement home. She eventually discovered YouTube. She started watching videos by Shane Dawson. She created a channel called yoooooooox3, which would eventually become eLL Cartoons. After this, she encountered the "nickternship" She applied, and waited for their decision. She was sadly rejected, but she didn't give up. She took 1 year to build her résumé. She finally completed it after getting out of her comfort zone she took a plane with her soon-to-be husband Max, when she made it to nickelodeon. In 2014, she started getting painful headaches, which turned out to be a brain tumor. She had surgery which removed most of the tumor and was fine until 2020, when the tumor re-grew itself. She has had surgery again and now does not have a tumor anymore. In July 2019, her channel gained thousands of subscribers from her video "My Bus Driver Wasn't Normal..." which was also her first video to hit 1,000,000 Views.
Personal life[]
eLL is from New Jersey, and many of her videos feature her grandmother and father. She has a brother named Greg & a sister named Jessica.
She married Max Babjak on November 12, 2022.[1] In August 2023, she announced that her and Max were expecting a child.[2] On February 11, 2024, she gave birth to her daughter, Grace Elizabeth Babjak.[3]

Her video "I Lied To A Cop" featured fellow animators TimTom and Tabbes. Another video that featured a YouTuber was her video "My Obsessed Roomate" which featured Laddi.

- She is a fan of the 90's era Nickelodeon cartoons and says that the stories and animation style in her videos were inspired by "Hey Arnold".
- She has a fake pet rat, named "Sweet Potato" which can be seen in multiple videos.
- The drawn area that her videos mostly start in is based off her own office for creating videos.
