History
2014-2017: Early days, MilescGaming and creation of the F1NN5TER channel
Finn's first known appearance online was before her main channel existed. She contributed to another channel called, MilescGaming.
On June 1, 2015, the F1NN5TER channel was created. Finn started uploading Minecraft-related videos on June 3, 2015, just 2 days after the channel was created. Her first video called "What F1NN Can Do | WFCD Ep. 1", is a 2-minute and 41-second long video introducing a series that she was making that included her testing out different types of cannons that she would be making and showcasing.
Finn originally set a goal of 10,000 subscribers. After just shy of 2 years of making videos, on April 15, 2017, she achieved that goal.
For the next 1.5 years after her goal was reached, her channel continued to grow in subscribers.
2018-present: E-girl era, continuous growth on YouTube and Twitch, and Twitch ban
In July 2018, her channel had around 40,000 subscribers. Around that time, a clothing brand sent her women's clothes for sponsorship. Later, in January 2019, Finn did a makeup challenge video as punishment for losing a bet. Her friend, convinced Finn looked feminine with makeup, challenged Finn to prove otherwise. This led to Finn creating a video (unsuccessfully) arguing she didn't look like a girl, which she uploaded to her second channel.
For the next 10 months, Finn's main channel continued to grow. The video on the second channel received very little attention during this time, as Finn never advertised it on her main channel.
In December 2019, Finn's main channel was at around 130,000 subscribers. Around Christmas, Finn decided to do a Christmas e-girl livestream on YouTube. This livestream became very popular. It started to give Finn more subscribers on her main channel than normal as more people discovered her as an e-girl. Later, Finn made a highlights video of it, which is now her most viewed video, with it currently having 1.5 million views on YouTube.
In January, a video on her second channel (F1NN5TER) with a few thousand subscribers suddenly gained traction, boosting both her channels. By May, the F1NN5TER channel had 200,000 subscribers and the main channel had 100,000 subscribers.
Further growth came from daily e-girl streams on Twitch in May, which became so popular she continued them beyond the initial bet. A fan created a highlights channel (F1nn5terLIVE) in June that grew even faster than Finn's other channels, prompting her to make it official.
By year's end, Finn's channels had exploded in popularity: F1NN5TER to 300,000 subscribers, Finn to 375,000 subscribers, and F1nn5terLIVE to 200,000 subscribers. Even her main channel benefitted, reaching 375,000 subscribers by December. The text concludes by mentioning the channels' current subscriber counts, all significantly higher than at the end of 2020.
Twitch ban
On February 7, 2023, Finn was banned on Twitch, presumably due to her fixing her bra, which was seen as “prolonged touching of female presenting breasts”.[1][2]
Coming out
On March 1, 2024, Finn announced she had started the process of HRT and came out as genderfluid and bisexual.[3]
Other channels
Her other channels primarily feature her e-girl persona, Rose, in her videos. A good portion of her fanbase comes from her e-girl content.

The most viewed video on the channel is called "FINN WENT OUT IN PUBLIC DRESSED AS A GIRL | Stream Highlights #6". It is a highlights video of part of her stream from May 15, 2020, where she went on a walk dressed as a girl. It has over 2.7 million views as of 2024.
This channel is the fastest growing of the three, fairly consistently gaining more views per day than the other two channels, and typically having the highest increase in subscribers per day too. In July 2023, this channel overtook the main channel in subscriber count.
