Frazier Khattri "Kay" (born: February 10, 1996 (1996-02-10) [age 28]), formerly known online as FaZe Kay or Khattrisha, is an English YouTuber, Twitch streamer, one of the directors of the Call of Duty YouTube channel, and former member of a gaming organization, FaZe Clan.

About[]

Frazier is known for his vlogs, challenges, and pranks that he attempts on his YouTube channel featuring his little brother Jarvis, another member of FaZe, and the FaZe House members. Frazier joined FaZe Clan back in December 3, 2013. One of his most notable catchphrases is "that's insane" which became an internet meme.

History[]

Kay started uploading content on the same day he joined YouTube under the name Khattrisha before changing it to FaZe Kay when joining FaZe a year and a half later. The early stages of his channel consists of first-person shooter games until 2016 when he gradually switched over to more real-life content.

His first appearance on camera however was in a video uploaded on February 13, 2012, titled 'My attempt at the "cinnamon challenge"' where he took his take on an old, yet well-known trend.

Personal Life[]

Frazier was born and raised in London, England to parents of Nepali and English ethnicity.[1] He has two younger brothers named Jarvis and Chandler. He began dating Charlotte Parkes in 2018, but they later broke up in January 2020 to take time apart from each other as mentioned on Twitter.

Controversies[]

His Grandpa[]

Frazier has received a ton of backlash from YouTubers, and fans in the past for click-baiting, and lying. For example, on April 10, 2018, Frazier uploaded a video titled 'This 100 Year Old Man Played Fortnite And WON (My Grandpa)' where he stated that his 'grandfather' is coming to town for a visit to play some Fortnite. Upon the 'grandfather' entering Frazier's home, fans felt suspicious because the 'grandfather' sounded a lot like his little brother Jarvis, and dressed up in a suit that has all the necessities to make you look/dress old. Then, right after, Kay handed him the controller and the 'grandfather' started playing. The first few seconds seemed like it was fake/staged since there isn't a way for an old person to have hands so reactive that lets you interact inside the game in seconds. The footage shown of his 'grandfather' was getting a win in the first try left some viewers confused.

Gaming Underwater[]

Another video uploaded in the same month on April 16, 2018, titled 'This 15 Year Old Kid Won A Game Of Fortnite Underwater In a Pool' where Frazier said that his little brother, Jarvis, is going to win a game of Fortnite underwater. Fans started to notice that the controller Jarvis was holding was an Xbox 360 which is not a supported system for the game. The gameplay footage shown on top of it was pre-recorded since the character in-game continued to sprint even after Jarvis had gotten the Victory Royale showing them cheering up at the same time, and not interacting with the game.

SaveTheKids Crypto Scam[]

On June 5, 2021, few members from FaZe Clan promoted an altcoin called "Save The Kids" which had "a mission to build a better world for kids" and claimed to donate a small portion to charity until on July 1, FaZe Clan announced on their Twitter that they will be removing Kay from FaZe Clan after someone online accused the coin to be a "scam" while suspending FaZe Jarvis, FaZe Nikan, and FaZe Teeqo for their involvement in the cryptocurrency scam. YouTubers SomeOrdinaryGamers and Coffeezilla both investigated the alleged altcoin scam and pointed out many inconsistencies throughout the event. A month later, Kay gave a statement through a video on his channel discussing the situation. In July 14, Coffeezilla revealed that he received a cease-and-desist letter from Kay, accusing him of losing "millions in revenue" due to his investigation work and that Kay plans to sue him should he not delete the videos.
