Allison Rose "Alli" Speed (born: August 13, 1989 (1989-08-13) [age 34]), is an American YouTuber and vlogger. She is perhaps best known for her highly publicized relationship with Charles Trippy, as well as her affiliation with the CTFxC YouTube channel.

History[]

Speed first joined YouTube in 2005, although she did not become a prominent YouTuber until years later. Speed first appeared in videos in 2009, solely as the girlfriend of popular YouTuber Charles Trippy. It was during the earlier stages of her relationship with Trippy that she began posting videos to her own account.

In 2011, Speed's personal upload consistency fell due to the growing demand of her personal life, as well as the rising success of the CTFxC YouTube channel.

In 2014, following her separation from Charles Trippy, Speed began to post more regularly and consistently to her own channel, which focused on some segments as well as video blogging and lifestyle videos.

In 2016, Speed made the switch from YouTube to Twitch, and has streamed regularly since.

Personal Life[]

Speed was born and raised in the U.S. state of Florida, where she still resides. She currently lives with her brother, Justin, and her dog, Chico.

In 2009, Speed began dating popular YouTuber Charles Trippy. Trippy proposed to Speed nine months later in Spain. On November 20, 2011, the couple was married, the entirety of which was filmed and edited into a 34-minute movie that was posted onto the CTFxC channel. In attendance were many other YouTube personalities who video blogged at the event, leading many to believe that the wedding was viewed by more than 10 million people.

During Trippy's struggle with cancer, it is believed that Speed was named the sole proprietor of the CTFxC channel, though this was never confirmed by either party.

On April 7, 2014, Trippy released a nine-minute video to the CTFxC channel, revealing that he and Speed were not happy in their relationship and that they were separating indefinitely. The couple officially divorced in October 2014.

The split of Speed and Trippy was highly publicized, and was responded to by many fans as well as other YouTubers. Among the fan-base of the CTFxC, many believed that either Speed or Trippy were unfaithful in the relationship, or that one of them did not want children while the other did. All allegations were denied by both Trippy and Speed.

Speed dated a college friend named Chase for a couple years, but they eventually split.

Since 2018, Speed has been dating fellow Twitch streamer Lauren Scott.
