David Pakman (born: February 2, 1984) is the Argentine-American host of the nationally syndicated David Pakman Show on YouTube. A progressive independent, David discusses news and politics from a progressive perspective.
At one point in his career, David was a part of The Young Turks network. He later left the network but is still considered a friend of the network, and continues to collaborate with members of the network such as Ana Kasparian or Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk.
Personal life[]
David lives in Boston, Massachusetts. He came to Boston at the age of 5 from Argentina. In addition to his Hispanic heritage he is also of Jewish descent, and has publically embraced said Jewish roots and upbringing. Before his internet fame, David made regular appearances on Expert Village and eHow.
When he's not hosting the David Pakman Show, David works part-time as an adjunct professor for Boston College.

Tweet After the Nashville School Shooting[]
In the wake of a mass shooting in Green Hill Nashville at a Private Christian School, David Pakman tweeted out the following "Very surprising that there would be a mass shooting at a Christian school, given that lack of prayer is often blamed for these horrible events. Is it possible they weren't praying enough, or correctly, despite being a Christian School?"[1]
This was described as Victim-Shaming. Pakman has since deleted his tweet but has said he does not regret tweeting it but rather regrets deleting the tweet because he felt deleting it was cowardly. [2]
