Bryce (born: August 9, 1994), better known online as fWhip (formerly FailWhip), is an American Minecraft YouTuber based in Seattle, Washington.
fWhip is best known for his detailed and over-the-top Survival Minecraft builds on both his single player worlds as well as on any Minecraft servers he is a member of. Today he's actively publishing the third season of his hardcore Minecraft series. He is not currently involved in any major collaborative multiplayer YouTube series.

Before going full-time on YouTube and Twitch, fWhip worked in I.T. for an undisclosed company.
Family[]
He lives with his wife, Syd. He and Syd have been engaged since November 21, 2020,[1] and they married in September 2022.[2]

Singleplayer survival series[]
Building With fWhip[]
fWhip's longest running series on his channel is his single player series called Building With fWhip, where he makes over the top builds in Survival Minecraft. The first season started on May 25, 2017, and it ran a total of 300 episodes over 3 years in the same world. Notable locations in his world include: Castle Bleakrock, the Custom Mountain Range, Papyrus, Port Litore.
He's since published three more seasons in updated versions of Minecraft.

After his first season of Building With fWhip concluded, fWhip started a hardcore series. It has run a total of three seasons, the latest of which is still being published.

SourceBlock SMP[]
Oct 5, 2019 — Mar 7, 2020
fWhip was a founding member of the SourceBlock SMP server which was started by VintageBeef in October 2019. fWhip had three builds in the spawn town, his hobbit hole starter base, his scaffolding shop, and his fWhip Digs shop. His first and only base was a monastery situated in an ice plains biome. Unfortunately the members of SourceBlock SMP decided to split up in early 2020.
Legacy SMP[]
Mar 13, 2020 — May 31, 2020
fWhip started his journey as a founding member of Legacy SMP on March 13, 2020. His first build on the server was his starter house located in the medieval district. He later spent most of his series building in a "Cyberpunk" style. On his final episode he spent time mapping the entire server, which he placed in the central shopping district.
X Life SMP[]

X Life is a modified SMP — created by Dangthatsalongname — where players start with one heart and the objective of the server is to survive with 10 lives. Losing a life adds one more heart to a player's health, and a player is eliminated from the server if they lose all of their remaining lives. fWhip joined this server in May 2020, where he has built a villa — his starter home — on a mountain he named Mount fWhip, in addition to a Roman-inspired village beneath the mountain, which contains vacation homes for his server friends and a battle colosseum. He has also built a few shops near the server's spawn point, including a headquarters for the in-server building company, Diamond Designs, ran by himself, SmallishBeans, and Solidarity. His projects expanded further into a mushroom island — supposed to be a beach town for his friends to play hide and seek, and a jungle — where he planned to start a Mesoamerican-inspired civilization that only permits players to wear diamond armor, but was abandoned due to fewer people playing on the server. As of fWhip's last video on the series, he was on his fifth life.

Season 1: June 12, 2021 — January 29, 2022
On June 12, 2021, fWhip started his new server on 1.17 — Empires SMP, where the objective is for players to establish their own empires to trade goods and resources with other empires, as well as wage wars. He founded the Grimlands, a gothic and steampunk-themed empire founded in the plains biome that mainly exported gunpowder.
Season 2: June 25, 2022 — May 4, 2023
Season 2 is very similar to the original season, but with new Empires and set in version 1.19. This time fWhip founded an underground-themed empire called the Goblin Empire (or the Goblands as it is sometimes referred to) in a dripstone cave. He plays the empire's lead architect and is in charge of stone export.
In Season 2, there was a crossover with Hermitcraft and Empires through a rift that was in both of the servers.

Mar 4, 2022 — Jun 7, 2022
The Afterlife SMP is a modified server that is a sequel to the X Life SMP, and still maintains the Hardcore aspect of each member only having 10 lives. However, in this SMP there are additional modifications including the Origins mod, which gives each player an "origin" (generally based on a Minecraft mob) that includes special abilities and either positive, neutral, or negative traits. For each of the player's 10 lives they will obtain a new random Origin, and have the option to re-roll 3 times total over the course of the server.

MC Championship[]
MC Championship is a Minecraft Tournament for YouTubers and streamers run by the Noxcrew, in which 10 teams of four compete in a series of 8 minigames decided by the participants. A point multiplier makes each game worth more as each round passes, incentivizing teams to vote for games they might be bad at early on in the event. In the end, the two teams with the most points face off in a round of ‘Dodgebolt’ to decide the winner of the tournament. This makes it possible for a team to win despite potentially having fewer points than the runner-up.
