Yo guys, It's Morgz, and today, me and the squad are going to be…

―Morgz's old intro

Morgan Connor Hudson[1] (born: August 6, 2001 (2001-08-06) [age 22]), better known online as Morgz (abbreviated as MGZ), is an English YouTuber known for his pranks, challenges, sketches, and vlogs. He is widely regarded as one of YouTube's most infamous prankster and vloggers, also being one of the most popular YouTube prank channels.

Morgan used to be well known from FIFA until he moved on from gaming content and became a vlogger, which he has has since attained massive success from. Infamous for things such as his 3AM videos, his videos are mostly targeted toward young viewers. Over the years, Morgz has been heavily criticized for his over-the-top persona and lack of originality in many of his satirical videos.

In more recent years, Morgan began to distance himself from his over-exaggerated content and has adopted a more genuine personality, with less over-exaggeration and childishness displayed in his content. Morgan currently uploads YouTube Shorts content, where he started to gain online traction.

History

Morgan started off with a gaming channel called LegendaryGamerHD (mentioned in his Fat Morgz video). He would play Minecraft, Call of Duty, FIFA, and several other games. After reaching around 100 subscribers, the channel was renamed to AngryGamerHD, then later changed to MorgzGaming after surpassing 1,000 subscribers.

Series

During the MorgzGaming era, Morgan had been doing an Outlast series, a Shout Out Sunday series, and a few vlogs throughout that time period before making a video about changing his name yet again. MorgzGaming then became ItsMorgz, while continued to post FIFA, Outlast, Shout Out Sunday, and Call Of Duty content.

At around 14,000 subscribers, he released his first set of merchandise. The main one was a 'On the Diet Coke grind' design. He hosted a Diet Coke challenge competition after announcing his merchandise.

Morgan also did gaming setup videos. His second public gaming setup became his first video to surpass 1 million views, his second most popular also being the previous Gaming Setup video.

FIFA 16

At 40,000 subscribers, Morgan changed his channel name from ItsMorgz to Morgz and got verified a few days later. After that, Morgan uploaded more FIFA content than ever and gained a huge following. He went from 40,000 subscribers to 100,000 subscribers in a month and continued making FIFA videos until an infamous viral FIFA video called FIFA 17!!!, which surpassed 2 million views in its first few days, increasing his subscriber count from 160,000 subscribers to 200,000 subscribers.

Pokemon GO

Ever since the release of Pokemon GO, Morgan has uploaded a lot of Pokemon GO videos. His most popular one was MY BEST POKEMON CATCH!!! - POKEMON GO! - SO MANY CP 1,000+ Pokemon! It had over 6 million views and became his most popular video within a week.

After Morgan surpassed 500,000 subscribers, he finally revealed his mother, Jill Hudson, and has done multiple videos with her since, and now does videos with her almost all the time.

Challenges

Morgz is well-known for his last to leave, and 24-hour challenge videos. These gained a ton of controversy for copying fellow YouTuber MrBeast and how their concept was very similar. Most of the challenge rewards are 10,000 dollars, although Morgan is UK-based, often saying dollars instead of pounds.

Break

On March 24, 2021, Morgan uploaded a video called "I'm Leaving Youtube...", stating everything that he had done, form his energetic and his notorious clickbait, and how he was very different from the Morgz that is seen on camera. He stated that he would promise to produce content with a different appearance. On April 11, 2021, Morgan uploaded a Documentary, explaining his history.

Shorts

Morgz has taken a break from making videos, and is currently making videos on YouTube Shorts, where he posts challenges, skits, and pranks.

Controversy

Sexual Predator for Clickbait

Morgan has been called out multiple times for misleading titles, his Shout Out Sunday series that he used to run, and self-promotion in the comments when he was a small creator. Some of his subscribers have been disappointed in his content, leading to a decrease in subscribers per day. YouTuber Kavos has called out Morgan for making his mother a 'sexual predator' for clickbait.[2] The video he was referring to had a title called, "MY MUM HAD SEX WITH ME WHEN I WAS 12", which has since changed. Pierre's video was featured on DramaAlert.

Morgan was also featured in a PewDiePie video, with Felix showing the video with the title of his Mum having "sex" with him at 12.[3]

Over-Exaggerating Videos

Morgan has become infamous on YouTube for having bland and unoriginal content, using misleading titles and thumbnails to gain traction, and using manipulative tactics to seemingly artificially inflate his channel. In ImAllexx’s video about Morgan, he points out that Morgan is tipping a fake pizza delivery guy in his video "TIPPING PIZZA DELIVERY GUYS FOR EVERY KILL IN FORTNITE". The Pizza Delivery guy was Morgan's real-life friend Ryan 'ItsHaber' Haber.

Morgan has also been called out by multiple YouTubers that his videos are not intended towards kids by showing inappropriate behavior in thumbnails and that all of his content is staged to trick his audience. However, most of these videos are clearly satire, as majority of them utilize numerous amounts of innuendos and mentioning clickbait.

Copying viral video ideas & MrBeast

MrBeast was aware of Morgan stealing ideas thanks to a tweet from Chandler Hallow, an affiliate for Jimmy, who uploaded a screenshot comparing Morgan's videos to Jimmy's videos.[4]

Morgan’s videos appeared to exact copies of Jimmy's content, containing challenges such as "I spent 24 hours in slime" and "I put 100 million orbeez in my mom’s backyard". While Chandler was rather dubious about Morgan stealing ideas, Jimmy had a measured response to the situation. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", he wrote of the issue, appearing to take Morgan's stolen video ideas in stride.

However, other YouTubers weren’t as nonplussed by Morgz’s videos, with the likes of FaZe Banks calling Jimmy’s response “too nice.” Jimmy went on to claim that it would be “hypocritical” of him to call out Morgan for using his video ideas, claiming that he gets inspiration from other YouTube channels as well.

Manipulating female's body

On May 29, 2020, Morgan uploaded a video "GIRLFRIEND Controls My Life For 24 HOURS! - Challenge", but in the thumbnail, he showed his ex-girlfriend Kiera Bridget. After finding out about this, Kiera posted a series of tweets calling out Morgan for using her body and relationship for views, being manipulative during their relationship, and even getting upset at her for visiting her sick mother because it was "not good for business". The thumbnail has since been changed, however, Morgan has not responded to any criticism given due to this.

Family

Morgan's mother, Jill Hudson, has been in a variety of his videos, featured in almost every recent video currently. Jill has her own YouTube channel called "Morgz Mum". She also has a Twitter @BigJillHudson. Morgan's dad, Darren Hudson, and stepdad, Martin Green, known as Bald Martin, have also been in a few of Morgan's videos. Darren does not have a YouTube channel, just a Twitter account[5]. Morgan also lives his 'sibling', Jenson Bell, nicknamed Jed Hudson, known as "Mini Morgz", but however he's not related to Morgan. Rumors state that he is the son of Jill's friend.

Girlfriend

Morgan has met up with multiple girls in the past but was recently dating other YouTubers like Anastasia Kingsnorth and Kiera Bridget. She has done a lot of videos with Morgan. Kiera and Morgan are no longer together but are still really good friends (as Morgan stated in an Instagram story). They announced their break-up on July 30, 2019 on Instagram and Twitter. As Morgan states on his Instagram story: "It's kind of been obvious but I wanted to share that Kiera and I are no longer dating, but we remain good friends."

Morgz is currently dating Instagram user and TikTok star, Tamzin Taber.

Characters

Morgz Mum
Jillian Hudson (often referred as just Jill or Big Jill) is one of Morgz's significant contestants, usually appearing as the second participant. Jill is often portrayed to have an extreme love for food (except vegetables), often stealing or eating one of the contestant's food they were about to eat, also being very greedy. Jill is also a cheater, as she would sometimes use unfair tactics, in order to win a challenge like, using a chair to knock Morgan down to win a boxing challenge, changing the dart's location of where it landed on, etc., she often uses Martin to help her accomplish her improper strategies. Whenever Morgz remarks something related to devices of any kind before or after destroying, she would diss him, saying like he doesn't get a single kill in Fortnite or saying that he would no longer take any cringey selfies.

Bald Martin
Martin Green (also known as his stage name, Bald Martin) is one of Morgz's recurring contestants, often appearing as the third participant and sometimes, the cameraman. Martin is portrayed to be very dimwitted and occasionally, immature, as he often admires girlish toys and defending them whenever someone criticize him for his love for dolls. Martin is somewhat, lucky, as he mostly doesn't get a dreadful occasion like trust falling and picking the right door. Martin also has strong obsession with the food combination, "Beans and Burgers", which become a recurring present and a meme.

Morgz Dad
Darren Hudson (also known as his stage name, Morgz Dad) is one of the contestants in Morgz's challenge videos, appearing as a minor participant. Darren would sometimes use tactics, in order to win a challenge, but would fail afterwards. Darren finally wins a challenge called 'Last to Leave Detention".

Mini Morgz
Jenson Bell (also known as Mini Morgz, as well as Jed Hudson) is one of the contestants in Morgz's challenge videos, appearing as a minor participant and often viewed as Morgz' mini-me. Whenever the squad is about to do something dreadful to him, he would sometimes make them go easy on him for saying he is a 'little boy'. Jenson seems to also snitch, as he reveals that Jill was cheating in a challenge afterwards, after losing to Jill herself in the final challenge.[6]

Mr. Nobles
Mr. Nobles (often mistaken as Mr. No Balls, also known as Sr. Sin Bolas, by Jill's speaking Spanish prank) is one of the recurring characters in Morgz's school-related videos. He is the squad's teacher, typically portrayed to be a very short-tempered, irresponsible, strict and antagonistic towards them. Despite his salty personality, Mr. Nobles can easily be converted to have a benevolent side towards to the squad, like example, when Morgan sings a song of how much he loves him, Nobles was astonished and would remember the song he sings to him for the rest of his life. Although Mr. Nobles claim that he was a teacher in 30 years, in his 3rd appearance in a Morgz video, when he is writing down words on the whiteboard, he spells all of the words incorrectly, like example: He misspelled 'cream' as "kreeme".

Mrs. Nice
Mrs. Nice is a nice, kind-hearted woman who was supposed to be the squad's teacher in detention, the squad thought they're gonna have a lovely time in detention but Mr. Nobles then steps up the plate and instead becomes their teacher in detention instead, which washes over their disappointment.

Big John
Big John was Big Jill disguised as a middle-aged Uber driver, in order to help Morgan asked Tamzin to be his girlfriend. As Big John, he has been driving Ubers for 60 years before Ubers were invented.

Jack
Jack (not to be confused with Manager Jack) is a 'pizza delivery boy' who was challenged by Morgan saying that if he gets a kill in Fortnite, Morgan tips him $1,000. Jack was actually a fictitious person, and it was just portrayed by Morgan's closest friend, Ryan Haber.

Cindy
Cindy was a fashioned plastic, Barbie-like doll that Martin admires and usually is with him to calm Martin down whenever he feels nervous. Cindy's arms were vaporized when the Lego House was collapsed.

Unnamed middle-aged man
The unnamed middle-aged man has made multiple roles in the Morgz series as few miscellaneous characters, like the pizza delivery guy and the house owner Morgan attempts to trick-or-treat in Christmas or prank by asking if someone (with a ridiculous name, which is a homophone of funny phrases) lives in his house. Usually, as the house owner, he will forcefully tell Morgan that if he doesn't leave his yard for 5 seconds, he would call the cops.

Manager Jack
Manager Jack, or just Jack is one of the minor characters in Morgz's videos, portraying few roles in the series like a delivery boy, or just himself. He is Morgan's friend and sometimes, his cameraman.

Ed the Cameraman
Ed is sometimes one of the contestants in his challenges, and is Morgan's friend and recurring cameraman in mid-2019. He can sometimes be heard speaking behind the camera whenever Morgan is about to do something absurd or completely stupid, to prevent him from doing it. In early 2020, Ed is no longer Morgan's cameraman, but he made his final appearance in 'GIRLFRIEND Controls My Life For 24 HOURS! - Challenge' where Morgan facetimes his 'EX', which is his EX-cameraman.

Professional Lie Detector
The Professional Lie Detector was Jill disguised as a professional polygraph examiner. Whenever Morgan and his ex-girlfriend, Kiera does something that might cause his laptop to be completely damaged, he would irritatingly exclaim that the laptop is a expensive equipment. At the end of the video, the professional lie detector, revealed as Jill, explained that Kiera was telling the truth that she didn't cheat on him and said that she thought it would be fun, by saying the wrong answer. Jill also stated that she feels terrible and thinks that it's her fault because she thinks both of them have split up. It is revealed that she was just trying to prank them, which eventually gone wrong.

Reverend Julie
Revered Julie was Jill disguised as a marriage officiant, contributed in Morgan and his ex-girlfriend, Kiera's wedding in his house. At the video, she finds Kiera explaining why she wants to marry Morgan, romantic. While she finds Morgan's reason cringe. Julie refers Morgan as a lady, as she calls both of them "Two beautiful young ladies".

Jason
Jason is perhaps a fictitious character portrayed by Ryan Haber, judging by his voice. Jason works at EM Records, and he is the part of the development team. While interviewing Jill about the song they received in the agency, Jason and the team loved the song, only because it was bad and hilarious, then he said that whole team was in hysterics. He also stated that they won't offer her a deal for that. After their rejection, Jill is trying to make them change their mind by saying she is really 'good' at opera, then starts singing an example of her opera singing skills. During the terrible opera verse Jill was singing, Jason had enough and tells Jill to they would give her $25 to stop singing.

Model Agency Caller
The caller is perhaps a fictitious character portrayed by Kiera Bridget, judging by her voice. While interviewing Jill, she said that she would be great for one of their campaign, but she said that that swimwear model (Jill was wearing) should not be in plus size. Jill wasn't happy of the caller's disapproval and immediately hangs up.

Patricia
Patricia is a head of a mannequin with a wig and is one of Morgan's prank scheme, and appears a minor character in Morgz's videos. Morgan usually uses Patricia as a disguised girlfriend, kissing it in his bed, generally to make one of his contestants (usually Jill) quit the challenge.

Martin's zebra
Martin's zebra is an inanimate unicorn plushie, to which Morgz and Jill represents as a zebra. Initially, Martin justifies that he is a grown up and ask what is he going to do with it. However, not long after, Martin, who he thinks he is alone, proceeds to cuddle the plushie, indicating the Martin secretly enjoyed the pony.

Patricia the Pony
Patricia the Pony (not to be confused with the mannequin, Patricia) was one of Martin's admirable dolls. Martin eventually have to burn Patricia with a blowtorch, because he has to do a punishment for picking the wrong door. Before, Patricia got burn, Martin tells her farewell, in which the Morgan and Jill find embarrassing, he retaliates saying that it's not embarrassing and it's real emotion. Martin also remarked that Patricia protects him from all the ghosts.

Drake
Drake was Morgz Mum's caricature of the real Canadian rapper, Aubrey Graham, with the same stage name. He appeared in the beginning of Morgz Mum's diss track reaction, where he calls Jill and tells her that he wanted her to be featured in his new song, to which Jill replies that she doesn't collaborate with "smaller artists" for free. Drake attempted to bribe Jill to collaborate with him by offering $100,000, however, Jill rejected the offer and tells him to call her back if he gets a better offer.

Eminem
Eminem was Morgz Mum's caricature of the real American rapper, Marshal Mathers III, with the same stage name. He appeared in the middle of the reaction, where Eminem calls Bald Martin and requests him to be featured in his songs. Martin proceeds to inform him that he only collaborates with Jill, and immediately hangs up on the phone.

Bald Stephen
Bald Stephen is a fictional character who appears in "Last to Leave Detention". He is portrayed as Big Jill's secret admirer that she was secretly messaging behind Bald Martin's back. Him and Jill's conversation was exposed during Mr. Nobles' punishment where Jill has to read her and Martin's conversation out loud.
